Do NOT waste a second of stress about timing. It has been studied many times and found to be highly unreliable. If it sways, it's only just a tiny bit and not at all worth the amount of worry and effort people put into it.

Hi atomic sagebrush, I am due to ovulate in 5 days (Currently on cycle day 8) how does frequent release twice a day (using condom) husband hot showers every shower and then vaginal release 2 day cut off and use aci jel 2 hours prior to this? Or is this cycle out of the question? PLEASE help me it's my last chance to get a girl. Thank u in advance xo

Well that would be a pink sway to be sure, very strict and you prob. would not have a good chance of conception.

The most important thing is sticking to one attempt. All the rest of it, the frequency, jellies, etc has been far less effective than the one attempt. So no matter what, keep the one attempt.

Thank u for replying. I feel I should wait for next cycle if not a good chance for conception. I'll continue with supplements and diet for my ph. I will do the one attempt so since we are waiting and doing a cut off do you recommend abstaining and 1 attempt 48-40 hours before ovulation or frequent release with 1 attempt at that same cut off?

Why?? If you're going to do an equally strict sway next month, I see no point in postponing?? Your odds of conception are not gonna get any better!!

If your husband is over 35, don't do abstain. Otherwise do whatever you think he will actually be capable of doing. I am kinda over frequency patterns becasue it's the one attempt that is really working for people.

I do not recommend cutoff, I think you should BD at pos OPK which is still a little bit of a cutoff itself but is a good chance of conception.

ok I will try this month it's just we haven't been abstaining or frequent release up until yesterday he is under 35 so not a problem there and have attempt at pos opk using aci jel b4 thanks so much
