I finally got a +OPK today, after days of thinking I was ovulating and testing and getting negative results, but we can't attempt because I've fallen way off the wagon with our sway plan. My diet has been dreadful and I stopped the Supps days ago cause we DTD on valentines day and I didn't want to take them "in case" I got pregnant.
I want this so badly and I don't know why I can't stick to the diet! I feel so disappointed and angry at myself.Grrrrrr!!
Have I now even lost our chances of attempting next month cause Ive been "off plan" for almost a week?

And to top it all off, we were doing the school run this morning and dropped our eldest son at his school and there was a car in front of us that a girl got out of. Her mum got out too and the girl gave her mum a kiss and hug goodbye and then they were chatting, she got her school bag out of the car and then gave her mum another hug and said I love you mum. Our son, jumped out of the car and I said where is my kiss goodbye. He looked at me like I was mad and walked off.
We then dropped our second eldest at school, he said goodbye to his brothers, and I said "where's my goodbye and kiss" and he looked at me and said "I gotta go". I burst into tears and said to my husband "I need a daughter!"Mum of 9 boys & my stillborn angel daughter, Shaylah Anne 20/02/2015

I am sorry, I know how hard it is to want something so badly and not be able to get it without a struggle.
Try not to make MAJOR changes in your diet, that is so hard. I have been swaying for over a year and i have to say that only now do I feel like I am doing the HE perfectly for ME! When I did the HE more as it is described it didn't work as well.
Try and think about a little change you could make that would make a long term difference. I don't know much about the LE but maybe something as little as drinking a diet soda for breakfast, or planning what you are going to eat at the next meal at the current meal as opposed to planning days in advance?? (if those are lame ideas, sorry, I'm an HE dieter).
Don't give up, the changes I have made that make me feel really good about my sway have taken months to perfect and find what works for me. I do recall seeing that the LE diet was most effective after 12 weeks (I could be wrong) so maybe just start making small changes now for an attempt in a couple of months.
Hope that helps. Big hugs mama!

I'm making small changes to my diet ATM but from June I'll be following a HE that like Adia is tailored to me by me. I'm struggling with full-fat milk but that's because its more filling and I'm worried about putting on too much weight.
I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Good luck for your sway. You can have my pink baby dust xxPlus-size SAHM of 2 c-section babiesDD1 Aug '09;

dreamingblue- I just wanted to say they just did a study on full fat milk and other dairy and how it affects weight gain or loss and it turns out it is perfectly fine and doesn't cause weight gain like they once thought! In fact they found skim and fat free to be more of a culprit to weight gain since it is overly processed. In all things those...moderation is key.

Don't be so down on yourself. I have to say this though, I have friends who have both girls and boys and they seem to agree that the girls, while they like doing girly things together, seem to less affectionate than their boys. It could just be them though.
Things happen and we get discouraged. I tell myself just to stick with it, because she is waiting on me. (I haven't full on started the diet yet because even the tiny changes I have made seem to drive me crazy... I caved last night and ate a bowl of cereal I know a small thing but I love it!). The longer I go back and forth the longer it will take for me to meet her. Do you have cheat days/meals? I hope this makes sense and even helps a little.Mom of 2 boys K-11and K-7

I think you still have time to regroup and try next month, keep in mind that many people do not even get pg that first month trying and so then you'd end up with longer on diet anyway.
