I weighed myself this morning, and I've now lost 13 pounds and am lighter than I've been since I hit puberty. I saw an old friend today, and as soon as she saw me she gasped at how much weight I've lost and asked if I'm ok. I think I am starting to look a little skeletal (compared to my usual weight, at least) - I hope people don't think I have an eating disorder!

Lol, i shouldn't laugh mocha, but That was my worry. My mum noticed how thin I am yesterday as we went shopping together. I've told her it's because I've given up meat. I just know now that it'll be her mission to feed me every time I go over there and I am NOT going to get away with small portions!!!! Hopefully this is nearly over!!!!

You see, I still have about 20lbs to lose to get to my lowest adult weight (possibly a bit less but I don't honestly remember that well as my weight has gone up and down so many times over the years!). That's why we're waiting until August but what if I don't get near that in that time, will we wait until September?! Obviously I don't expect an answer but I'm worried that if I don't lose enough weight and have a boy I'll think that could have made the difference. I conceived my boys in Autumn/Winter so if we wait until then so I can lose more weight I'll probably blame that!

Atomic has said that even losing just a few pounds sways, and you've lost tons, zanacal!
Swish - my ribs are showing, my boobs have pretty much disappeared, and my arms are skinny. None of my clothes fits me anymore - everything just hangs off me.
BTW - 10dpo today and another BFN for me.

This was my first cycle trying, so I've been on the diet 2 months now. I'm still a healthy weight - 117 lbs for my 5'3'' frame, but it's a striking difference compared to my usual 130 lb weight. I've always been a robust girl, so people who know me well notice the difference right away - to others I probably look completely normal. The disappearing boobs have a lot more to do with ds3 weaning a few weeks ago than with the diet - I went out and got a new bra and found that I'm a 34B now though I've been a a 36C for years. I'm trying to enjoy the new thin body while I have it - I doubt I'll ever be this thin again and I'm sure I'll gain like crazy as soon as I'm allowed real food again. I told DH I want to take the boys swimming soon so I can parade around in a swimming suit!

maybe your weight loss will plateau soon then, 117lbs and 34B is still not that small if you're petite (I'm 4'11 and have been around that size most of my life). as you say, enjoy it

Sorry about the BFN mochagirl. I remember testing with DS3 (no idea how many dpo) and getting a BFN but I felt queasy and every time I stood up too quickly or coughed it hurt in my abdomen so I just looked at it and said 'naa, that's wrong' but I didn't get my BFP until a few days later. I have everything crossed that one morning soon the line will magically appear - and if it doesn't you have that slap up meal planned right?!

Thanks, zanacal! I looked up my old TTC thread on IG and discovered that with ds3 I had a BFN on 10dpo, and a line at 11dpo. That made me feel a lot better! Hopefully the same thing will happen this time. And yes, I plan to have a big meal regardless. I'm thinking panzerotti and something chocolate for dessert!
