I just got the lab results back from my prenatal screen and my vitamin D is low and they want me to take a medication for it and recomended one. Has anyone else had this? What are symptoms of low vitamin D and what could be the cause for low level?

It can cause a whole bunch of problems. Many people are vitamin D deficient. I would definitely start a supplement!

I just ordered the supplements. They were kind of expensive...$60 for 12 week supply but they have an extra pill to combat nausea/ms so I thought that would be well worth it!

vitamin D deficiency is really common in winter months. Baby is taking more from you too so you would be even lower now. extreme fatigue is a huge symptom, although with you being pregnant that would have been hard to pick out!

I have had more extreme fatigue with this pregnancy than any others so maybe that is why! I was tested when I was only 5 weeks so if I was low then, I know I am really low now. MS is really bad too...all day and all night nausea. Way worse this time than any other. Praying it ends soon b/c it is getting to me and it's only been 2 weeks.

When did your full on nausea hit NC? Everyday I wake up wondering if it will be worse that day, but so far it is manageable. I am worried I am going downhill though seeing I was kept awake last night from dizziness that made my stomach turn, ugh!
Hope the vit D helps you!!

My last guy was 5 weeks 4 days.... Funny I remember the exact day!! He was my earliest. I'm around 6 weeks now I think so I'm remaining optimistic but I'm pretty sure nausea started later with the other 2 so I'm not out of the woods yet!! I would have been on so grab AND diclectin by now but I'm starting to think that they made me so drowsy and that they then made my nausea worse! Who knows!! Dumb babies
lol cut us moms a break just once!!!!!

Coocoo I think by 7 weeks you can consider yourself pretty safe so one more week to get through and hopefully it doesn't get worse! My doc always told me 7 weeks. I do remember barely having any nausea with my second ds until 8 weeks though but he was a weird pregnancy and now a weird child.
