I can imagine! 3 boys! Yeah, we only want 2. The idea of being outnumbered by our kids terrifies both me and DH. We just have DS right now and some days he seems like too much!
We really want a DD, and the idea of duggaring it out to get her scares me! 4boys! 5boys! More?!? Eeeekk!

I had DS first then DD, and have quite a few friends that are the same. For me I think it was my progesterone levels that affected my genders the most. I had miscarriages before my first and last baby who were both boys and I wasn't taking any birth control before ttc. I was taking the mini pill (progesterone only) before my DD's and did not have m/c before them and got preggo first month ttc with both of them so I think the higher levels of progesterone already in my system was what made the difference of their genders.
On the other hand I also gained about 10-15 pounds before each DS because I was so depressed about the m/c's so fits with the HE diet for my boys. (I had to take prog supplements the first trimester with all my pregnancies, btw)

Trike I have friends that only wanted two and swayed to get opposite. Most did get one of each! I don't blame people for not wanting to be outnumbered by kids. It is a lot of work. Nothing is a quick get up and go anymore, getting three in a vehicle is a hassle and my oldest has autism and still needs help with everything so that doesn't help! I do love it though and at least for me...it isn't as hard as everyone said it would be.

I have GBGB. The second boy was a successful boy sway. I know lots of people that have GB or BG, though. I think it is really common! But I also know many families with 2 (or more) of the same.

Trike, so glad you posted this! I'm in the same boat as you and have a DS born in 2012. We are TTC beginning April and really hoping for a DD. I have an older brother and DH has a younger sister. I've been feeling really down lately though thinking we won't get that. I have 5 friends who have had two of the same and just one who recently found out she is going to have a BG pair. I'm going to stick with the sway plan Atomic made for me and hope that works! Certain days are tough though =\

Well I am from GGG! Also only 2 kiddlers here and nervous about it. Find myself staring at other families in the street!

I mostly know GB pairs and 2 BG. It makes me nervous x

Yeah. I count kids when I go out. It's nuts. I always look for BG, and feel like the more I see of them, the better my chances are. (Which makes no sense!)
When I see BBBB it scares me! Not that there is anything wrong with it, it's just not for me.

Lol! I must frighten you then with our 6 boys!

I actually know heaps of PP families and about an even mix of BG and GB... It actually annoys me that all "the perfect" prim and proper girls I went to school with all have PP and everyone considers them even more perfect because of it, whereas we are looked down on and talked about because we have not only six kids, but six boys. We wanted a big family though, and wouldn't have it any other way. I do understand your feelings about not wanting to be outnumbered by kids though, my hubby and I are often overrun!

I hope you get your baby girl, I'd be positive about your odds, defiantly more likely than winning the lotto.

I do the same thing, Trike. I've been going crazy trying to spot families with BG when we are out to somehow get my hopes up. Do you think the chances are decent if DH and myself both come from a BG family?
