Thread: July Swayers!

    Full Moon ovulation = boys??
Ladies I am from the blue thread and just dropping here to ask a favour. I have been concerned about this moon theory that full moon ovulation = boys and new moon = girls. I have worked out that both my girls were conceived during new moon. I can see from the blue thread posts that they all seem to be ovulating around the new moon. I hope I can prove the theory wrong as I cannot change my cycle I ovulate during new moon and get my period during full moon. I would really appreciate it if you could work out when your previous children were conceived using this link:
    http://kalender-365.de/lunar-calendar.php
Just a rough estimate would be great. The way I worked it out was by remembering the due date for my girls, then counting back 40 weeks from my due date and adding another 2 weeks as I usually ovulate at days 14-15. If you could all be bothered to do this I would be SOOOOO greatful. THANK YOU

Both my twins and ds3 were conceived in a new moon. I don't buy the moon theory either.

Hi girls, how is everybody doing? Anybody near their attempt? Ladybug did you O?
I came back from my holiday, AF showed up when we came home, so now I´m ready to TTC! Very excited!
I have to get myself a ovulation ticker, now I finally can.
So I have been doing the low everything diet for 2 months, and I was planning on doing a 1 day cut off attempt with abstain, but I really need a good change to get pregnant, so we will just do whatever comes up I think and I´m also considering DTD through O, I am way too thin be on this diet for another 6 months. I don´t know what excuses to invent anymore for my relatives and inlaws that are worried about my health.
I´m taking SP on alternative days hoping my O won´t get delayed as it did last month. I will use antihistamines if I have a lot of EWCM, and then maybe a little Sylk but only if I need it for lubrification. I´m not checking my pH . I´m trying to do relaxing things like be in the garden, read books, respiration and a shower every evening. What are you planning on doing? Good luck to everyone!

    Hi girls!

I am getting close to my attempt now. I am on CD 8!! I can't believe it is finally here. I am starting to really struggle with diet. I have lost 14 lbs and I'm lower than I was when I concieved my boys. I seem to be sitting at this weight, not losing anymore, despite hardly eating. I think starting tomorrow I will cut back even more and see how it goes. I really want to eat so I REALLY want to get pg this cycle. I was going to do one attempt with a 3 day cut off but now I think maybe I should try at least twice to maximize my chances this month.

I don't really put much stock in the moon theory - I don't buy it.

Anyways, good luck to alll of you! I look forward to following your journeys! FX we all get our DGs.

Thank you for your replies ladies judging by the responses in the blue thread as well it does not sound like there is anything to the moon theory.

Goodluck tweedledeedum . I don't know whether this would help you but I only lost a few kilos (no more than 5) before conceiveing each of my girls. With DD1 I went on low fat low protein diet and mostly ate carbs with no protein and had a couple of protein meals in the week. Before DD2 I had high cholestoral and although my doctor was not concerned because my blood pressure was low I do not have diabetis and I am not that old I was concerned, so I cut down on protein a lot. I usually love cheese so I was only eating one piece of cheese every second day, only eating eggs once per week and red meat only 2-3 times per week. I stopped eating deli meats. But I did eat tons of vegetables mostly coliflour, brocolli, carrots (raw only), lots and lots of cucumbers (chopped up with a tiny bit of salt, tiny bit of olive oil and a lot of balsamic vinegar) different lettuces, and even some tomatoes, lentil soup and white bean soup, chicken noodle soup (home made) and lots and lots of pasta with vegetarian sauces (mostly grilled eggplat and zuchinni or tomato and light evaporated milk). I drank about 3 cups of fat reduced milk (never drink skim milk only fat reduced as skim will reduce your fertility) per day. I also ate salmon or trout once per week and tinned tuna couple of times per week.

So my strong view is that less to no protein especially the red meat type = girls. Oh and as it was winter I did not eat that much fruit either. It was usually an apple and strawberries (you can have a lot of the latter and not put on any weight as their carb content is really low) or a pear. I did try to eat 2 pieces per day, but often struggled with one. I only drank water and milk no fruit juices and every now and again I would have a zero coke. I did have either chocolate small one or gelato ice cream (it is Italian ice-cream made from fat-reduced milk and real fruit and nuts), actually I had 2 scoops of gelato before bed with both girls.

Appreciate your help and let me know if I can help you in any way. I can give you lots of soup recepies as soup fills you up so that you feel full but you are not.

Is anyone else close to their attempt? Any in the 2WW? How are you doing with the diet?

I have started to really cut down my food intake. I am down another pound too. I have also really upped my CL intake - I am now drinking a pitcher (in a glass, just really strong) three times a day. I started Replens today too. I will start my OPKs tomorrow.

Hope you all have a great Tuesday!

Good luck ladybug and tweedledeedum with your attempts, I´m as desperate as you are to get a BFP this month!
Have a good 2 WW ladybug, sounds like you´re almost there. I´m so excited that July is here now.
My car didn´t start today in the middle of the street, waited 2 hours for the mechanic and I tried and managed to stay calm and relaxed about it, just sat there and waited.
