I usually have my last meal of the day at around 6-7pm. I'm up at around 6am and eat breakfast at 8-9am, which is around 14 hours without food. Is this okay or should I be eating later? I've tried to stretch it later but I start to get nauseous. Any advice would be appreciated!

I am doing about the same, but trying to keep 15-16 hrs of fast.

I usually have last meal (dinner) at 5.30-6.30 pm and then and eat a late (quite small) breakfast at 10-10.30, usually rice crackers with some marmelade or a slice of white toast with low fat cream cheese.

I do have 1-2 cups of coffee (black or with a little skimmed milk) when the rest of the family has breakfast (6.30 am) but I hope that's not considered as a meal.

Skipping breakfast is without doubt the hardest part for me in this diet, I am a breakfast person and always wake up more or less hungry. I have no problems skipping meat or counting calories, but it is tough to work all morning on empty stomach.Gorgeous 4 4 6 and unfortunately 6 and unfortunately in jan 2014. Tried to answer this thread but it didn't seem to work so I'll write a short version again :-)

I am doing about the same. Have early dinner at 5-6 pm and then try to get 15-16 hours of fast. Have a smaller breakfast (rice crackers with marmelade or a slice of toast) at 10-11 and then lunch at 12-13. I do have 1-2 cups of coffee with rest of the family at breakfast time 6.30 but I hope that doesn't affect my blood sugar too much.

Skipping breakfast is the toughest part of swaying for me - I wake up hungry so every hour until I can have something is really hard.Gorgeous 4 4 6 and unfortunately 6 and unfortunately in jan 2014. I have my dinner at 8pm then try to eat breakfast no earlier than 1030am so thats the same - 14 hours. You have to do what works for you. Atomic recommends anywhere between 12-16 hours so 14 is great!

March 14th, 2014, 05:23 PM #10I think if you're nauseous then definitely eat. I don't find skipping breakfast the hardest anymore but the first week or so I just really wanted it. I think it was more the fact I 'couldn't' have it that made me want it more! xxx
