I had a very very similar scan pic as your first pic and he was a boy so I'm guessing boy! I kept hoping on his nub shot that it was part of the nub seen past the legs and when people guessed on mine they were hesitant as to whether it was part of the nub or not but I just knew in my heart it was. I'll try to find a link to it and post it so you can compare.

Kinda hard to tell, but I'm a boy vote too.
