ELP, I think the alternating supps could be a good idea. We need a guinea pig to try it!
Layla, good luck with all the tests.... hope it turns out that you're a-ok.
Bec, I know, the 2nd baby just flies by doesn't it?!? I had mine 3.5 years apart though so by the time I had DD2 DD1 was more a preschooler, and it wasn't so hard since she didn't really "need" me to hold her, etc all the time. I can't imagine having them any closer. DD2 and DC3 will be 2 months shy of 3 years apart, and to me that seems sooo close in age, LOL! Glad to know you'll get a workup preTTC! That'll ease your mind for sure.

Hi ladies, i'm getting so lazy to log on so sorry if i pop in & out i'm sure after 12wks i'll be better at communicating. I've actually gone to the stage where i'm not in mood to chat to some friends over the phone & i'm usually one to chat forever..
Anyway just thought i'd tell you that Alestis prediction are based on what info she gets & if she gets wrong info then she's likely to give wrong prediction. I had aan abdominal scan & i asked the tech to point out on my belly where the baby was & it was to my right & the pictures i was given showed baby on right side. Alestis says the image is the opposite of what you see which isnt correct in my case because i made sure i asked the tech & my pictures are a true reflection of what's happening inside my uterus. Anyway i've sent her the latest ones so lets hear what she says. She does say though that you have to ask the tech if the pictures are in reverse etc.

Gotten behind on things again ladies... suppose I should just get used to that for awhile
You gals are so chatty! I had tons of pages to get through so please forgive me if I missed anything
Re: Moon theory - I know a lot of ladies hold to it but I have NOT found that it has held up for my kids. I worry more about diet/supps and a bit about timing, rather than the moon or ions and things.
Spicy - I didn't sway with my new baby, she was a total surprise. But I can see where factors swayed for her - we had a 3 day cutoff with her, and I was a few weeks into a new exercise routine and was losing a lot of weight and trimming of baby fat. I did sway with our DC4 and that sway was successful. I really do think that swaying makes a difference.
Layla - welcome to the thread! I love the high everything approach to blue swaysSending you lots of blue dust! Are you charting now to get a feel for your cycles?
iluv - keeping FX for you
ELP - Congrats!!! Sending stick blue bean vibes your way
Alexis - ((hugs)) on AF. I think the soy can be responsible for pulling down EWCM and also could sway towards girl. I know the feeling of wanting twinsHave you tried yams and other foods that maybe increase chances of twins?
baby - ((hugs)) remember that an early scan may be wrong! Can't wait to see your nub shot and your anatomy scan!
3PNB - how exciting to be able to be with your friend in the delivery room. So amazing to see a new life come into the world.
Tink - so glad your cycles are looking good to gear up for TTC!
begonia - sorry your holiday wasn't as relaxed as it should have beenThose wild things keep us on our toes
Also sorry to hear your friend's comment - she probably thought she was helping, being encouraging kwim? I really wish people would learn to keep their mouths shut about gender, though.
Lola - I know that muscle mass is def denser than fat, so if you've put on muscle and feel good then that could probably account for the weight. Remember with swaying that a little bulk is a good thing for blueI agree w/ Begonia, too, you may not gain as much pg this time around, esp. if you're already well-nourished.
TTC5 - Keeping FX for you girl, remember you're still early in the DPO!
Things with Me: Had my 6 week postpartum appt. yesterday and that went really well. I was a little dissapointed because I was hoping to get the OK to start an exercise routine again. But I had a little postpartum bleeding episode this week (after my bleeding had been done for two weeks), pretty sure due to stress as it was just a touch of red then gone. My midwife said this can be normal but she suggests not starting the exercise routine for at least a couple more weeks to give my body more healing time. So I am just doing kegels and tummy tightening stuff that's pretty low-key. I weighed in at 158lbs so I would like to lose around 28lbs before my cycles resume. That was a little discouraging too, but DH keeps reminding me that my body isn't going to drop the baby weight as quickly now at 29 as it did when I had my first at 19! And I know that I probably won't get my cycles back until at least 8-9 months postpartum so really, I have time
Oh, I am also keeping up a little journal of my goals for losing the baby weight and preparing for our swayI've only made two entries thus far but hope to get more up. Here's the first entry

Skrimpy, i hear you about losing baby weight but just take it easy for a while. I'm already thinking about how i intend to lose it all lool. By the way i've looked on IG & the predictions are all 50/50 so i'm more chilled about it now than i was a few days ago. Also i've reminded myself that it took me ages to conceive so i should be grateful for whatever i get as long as the baby's healthy. I think we get caught up with so much that we forget the real things that matter in life.

Skrimpy you did a great job catching up, I think! I do think the older we get the harder it is to lose the baby weight. I know with DD1 it was almost instant, except for about 7lbs that stuck around while I was bf'ing. This time around I'll be 33 and I was 27 then, so I fully expect it to be more difficult. Glad that overall the postpartum check-up went well though!
Babydes I was looking at some Ramzi stuff yesterday too and it really does seem like almost every other early predicition thing ... 50/50. I wouldn't worry about it a bit. That little bean can absolutely be your son.
We have a boy name because we always have, LOL, but a 3rd girl name is going to be hard for us. I do think it would help if I had one I loved but to be honest I'm just not that into picking out a name yet for some reason. I think once my friends know I'm pregnant that topic will be way more fun though. One of my friends is just desperate for a 3rd (her DH is still unsure) and she is all over baby names, so I know she'll be fun to talk about it with.

B- "Puh-leeeeese, sir" lmao, yep she's going to go far
Iluv - yeah my dd1 did not prepare me for dd2 lol Yep hips, thighs and muffin top here too, and don't get me started on the boobs, so tragic.
Baby - if you believe it right side = boy! Glad you're calm about it and I agree, it's all about a healthy baby
Skrimpy, glad your 6 wk went well but bummer for no exercise. Soon enough
Not much going on here, still trying to feed my poor starving body. I'm so detached from all this right now, I'm positive that this is all going to be over any second so no point making plans or being excited. DH and I haven't talked names and always say "if" when referring to things. We have decided that if I'm still so detached at the 20 wk scan (if we get there) we'll find out the gender to help me bond. I hate feeling like this.
On a happier note I just got the word they are going to start my friends induction today so we should have a baby tomorrow!! So excited, I guess I should pack a bagChloe 3/1/2002,
Lucy 11/23/2004,
Hannah 8/17/2007,
Charlie 2/11/2012 GD sway baby!
12/2003 @ 7 1/2 wks & 10/2010 @ 13 wks
Finally our family is complete!

There are a few boy/girl names i like but none stand out so i just havent really thought much about it. I also want to give DH a chance to name this baby so i'm leaving it up to him to decide.
I'm not bothered about theory now & actually regret ever asking because it made me upset & question whether i should find at my 20wk scan, ignorance is bliss
