They havent' selected them yet! I'm hoping maybe if I try on the dress soon and then lose a bunch of weight on the LE diet that maybe it will still fit (or wouldn't be too bad) in September as I would only be 1, 2 or 3 months pregnant (at the most!) and hopefully would just be regaining the weight I lose on LE.
Probably just wishful thinking.. ! It's definitely risky!

It does come down to your choice though, it is a very tough one. My cousin fell pregnant with her 3rd bub (she thought it would take a while). She is due the week after my cousins wedding but, having a c/s due to being high risk. My cousin wasn't terribly happy about it but, it's not like she had a choice in the matter. Did your friend give a reason for her not wanting you to be pregnant at her wedding other than you being in the bridal party?

My gender dreaming success arrived safe July 2015.He is a complete dream come true and an absolutely beautiful little boy.
A huge thank you to Atomic for all her encouragement when I was up against things out of my control and ready to chuck it in. I can never thank you enough. Thank you also to all the other knowledgeable and ever supportive ladies that have helped and encouraged me. I truly believe my dream would not have come true without this site, my boy gender plan and the incredible love and support.

Daisymoo, We've actually been getting hit like a freight chain by climate change. When I was a little kid AK was warm basically in June and July and then the warmest you saw was about 60 F. We've broken heat records pretty much solid all this last year though. This last summer the snow took a bit to melt, but our summer lasted from late may to late august and the temp skyrocketed to 90F+ in our peak month. This winter has been warm as well hanging around 20 F rather than the -20 F we normally see in the cold months. Anyone who thinks our climate is not changing just needs to have a lookskie at historical temp data from up here. I for one am not amused, they confirmed ticks and the brown recluse brought up by tourists both survived the winter this year.
Bluebonnet: I lost 5 lbs in the first week even not cutting meat, but going forward I've noticed the exercise seems to make a huge difference and if I have "cheater" days about once a week it seems I lose more. Maybe it keeps your metabolism revved up? Not sure. And what a horribly selfish request of your friend to make. I don't think it makes you a bad friend to ignore her request, I think she was being a bad friend asking you to do that. They make many dress styles that look fabulous on pregnant women.

Wow that is definitely the results of climate change Bit scary really isn't it?
Bluebonnet that is a very strange request for a friend to make. I would definitely ask her why she has asked you this to see if you can work out what the problem is. Getting pregnant is a very personal thing and the timing of it should only be discussed with your dh or partner. If it's about the dress I have seen lots of beautiful pregnant bridesmaids. Does your friend have any kids herself?

argh!!! Have really heavy rainfall here with localised flooding. Dh had to be towed home as he tried to drive through water but, it was deeper then he thought. As a result the car wouldn't start/ We're hoping the car will dry out by the morning. The rain shows no signs of letting up though
I also dropped my Samsung and cracked the screen top left corner pretty bad. Oh the joys!

Boysway I am sorry that happened, my dh did that a few years ago, his car was fine after about a week, haven't had any issues since then. Sorry about your phone, I hate when that happens.
Bluebonnet, no you would not be a horrible friend for ignoring her request, it is none of her business when you and your partner ttc. As long as you aren't trying to give birth at the wedding, I don't see the problem personally. I think she was wrong for even suggesting that, but that's my opinion.
For those of you doing a pink sway and using fiber, what brand of fiber are you taking? The chitosan or something different?Mom of 2 boys K-11and K-7

Thanks for the responses ladies! She doesn't want me to be pg at her wedding because she wants me to drink and "be fun". She doesn't have children herself so I don't think she really understands what a big request putting off TTC for 6 months is when you are ready! At the most I would be 3 months pg at her wedding, so definitely won't be huge and would definitely be able to attend.
marriedmomof2 - I bought generic metamucil pills (psyllium husks) but I have been too scared to take them! (I officially will be starting diet/pills next week on April 1). I'm curious if i should switch to chitosan because that seems to be more popular around here.

Marriedmomof2, I just use generic Kroger no-sugar fiber. I asked Atomic if it really made a difference what brand we used, because it seemed everyone used Chitosan or benefiber. She said that while there were not stats on individual brands, as long as the fiber you are using doesn't have added nutrients and is just fiber, there wasn't any reason one brand would work better than another. The Kroger kind is like $10 less than benefiber too. That right there was enough to sell me lol
Boysway, generally with water damage it really depends how high the water got when the car was running. If it managed to intake water (through the air intake system), the engine is basically shot, otherwise it could just be wet connections or even a dead battery. If it doesn't even click may try a jump start and see if that fixes it.
Bluebonnet, wow! I'm pretty sure that you can be fun while both sober and pregnant. Maybe just have a heart to heart with her, as your BFF your wants should help her understand and if she really cares I can't see her getting upset.

Bluebonnet thanks! when is your first attempt? I am starting full on diet, supplements and exercise on Monday, March 31st, so I have to go buy supplements, today! I tried to a few weeks ago and walked out of the store with everything except the supplements I originally went in there to get. Oh and I think if you explain to your friend that this means a lot to you she will understand.
