OT: lifting toddler/ preschooler during 2ww

I know this is off-topic but I'm in the 2ww and my youngest just turned 3 and is around 35 lbs and still needs to be lifted into his crib, into the tub, into the car etc...I'm trying to do less lifting but it's hard when dh works a lot and I'm the only one here. will it affect implantation or cause early m/c? I have had 4 losses in the past but they were later on, also I didn't have this issue since my littles were always light(er). Thanks! Hoping someone can calm my worries

It Will not affect implant. I'm sure.. Sorry bout your losses. I get it scares you but you can do normal stuff in 2ww. If it Goes wrong mostly its cause something you can't control.

House I can assure you I lifted during my tww with my last, A TON. My ds2 loved to be held and carried everywhere. It is totally fine!

I've never heard of this? I'm gonna lean towards its fine, being it would be ok while pregnant. I examined this topic while pregnant with my second lol (I am a writer)

The short-end of the article is that you can safely lift 20-25% of the weight you normally did before pregnancy during pregnancy safely, but it's a null point, because the only reason you shouldn't lift heavy objects during pregnancy is the affect late pregnancy hormones have on your joints and the affect the weight has on your balance. I sat here for awhile trying to think of why it would harm implantation and even tried looking it up, couldn't find anything that wasn't a forum post.

During my last pregnancy I continued to lift weights and do my usual exercise regime during the 2ww and throughout the pregnancy so I think you will be fine hon. Its natural to worry but as sweetdream says, if anything goes wrong during the 2ww its something out of control such as cell division not going well.

If this was possible to cause mc it would have been 100% proven and the whole human race would have died out a long time ago. I totally understand why you are concerned but honestly I really don't think this is an issue at all.

I did all my full-on weight training during the 2ww with DS2. As in, I was deadlifting 215 lbs (I was 135 lbs.) During the pregnancy, I adhered to the principle of not lifting more than half of what I could lift before. I was still able to get 45 lbs overhead while 7 months pregnant.

So, no, I would not, in any way, shape, or form, give a second thought to picking up your child during the 2ww.
