Congrats B'smommy!! This is very exciting and of course congrats again Mumofsix! FX for those little beans!!
Sorry you are out Marika
Stephk: it must be really frustrating and I hope you will get to the bottom of it with the blood tests. Big hugs
Maidentomother , maybe you are one of these people that Vitex don't really agree with? How would you feel if you dropped it? Im sure your sway would be just as good. I am not expert of course but I do believe in 'signs' and listening to your body.

Thanks everyone!! I am very excited, this was my 2nd round on clomid. We have been ttc since sept 2012 (but did have a MC), so just really praying this is a sticky bean!!!
I'm trying to not get too excited until I get blood work results on Monday, but I have resumed breakfast and snacking. I have been STARVING now for 2 weeks, it just never eased up. I am still going to stick to the veggie diet for a bit, but I can't stop eating and then I feel gross, but STILL hungry!!! I stopped counting my cals yesterday too, what the heck. I don't even want to know the #'s, haha.
My dh was laughing at me on wed night b/c I was roasting marshmallows over the stove and putting them in between wheat thins with a mini mr. goodbar. I went back 3 times!!! He said he just knew then since it was sooo not normal for me, haha.Last edited by b'smommy; March 28th, 2014 at 03:19 PM.

Huge congratualtions b'smummy!!!!! Hope this is your pink bundle

I have taken taking vitex for 3 months, first month it put back ov 3 days but that was also my first month super strict on le so could also have been that. The last 2 cycles have been normal ov day. Maybe give it a miss a month and see if it goes back to normal. I am sure I read Atomic saying it didnt get that great results, I only took it for my short lp but its not really helping.
I am terrible. I have fallen off the wagon again after just 1 day being good. Its been like this since 14th March!!! I just cannot find my motivation. I even looked online at girl baby clothes on wed to motivate me which did on thurs until I saw a yummy chocolate bar at my mums house this afternoon and wham I ate it!! I then think stuff it and go to the shop and buy naughty stuff. I need help!!! x

Congrats b'smummy on the bfp!!
StephK so sorry you had a bad experience with your doctor. It stinks when they don't know how to do what you need them to do.
We are using the frequent BD pattern with protection and then one unprotected attempt, as this is the only pattern my husband would agree to. He's very reluctant to ttc again and not at all eager to try for a daughter. He has his two sons and is happy.
I've taken two days off from exercise after having a very crappy day and also having some major cheats...hoping this will 'reset' my motivation. I'm terrible at sticking to anything long term.
Good luck to us all.

b'smommy-- HUGE congrats! Hope it sticks and enjoy your breakfasts and snacks!
laVieEnRose-- I still think you have a good chance of this being a sticky bean. My best friend bled a lot (like a regular period) at both the 4 and 8 week mark (so when her normal periods were due). Her DD is now 7 years old!
And my cousin didn't find out she was pregnant till she was 8 weeks along because she said she had a regular period as well. Her DS is 1 now! So stay positive! Have you taken another test today to see if it's still dark? Or maybe buy one of those Clear Blue digital ones that tell you how many weeks pregnant you are.
I'm not TTC this month (back on the mini pill) but will cheer everyone on as well. We're waiting till May till try again.Me: 35 years old. Was an infant nanny and birth and postpartum doula. Now a full time SAHM.
DS1: Aug 2003 (my first home birthed water baby!)
DS2: May 2009 (my second home birthed water baby!)
Oct 2014
July 2016: Laproscopic surgery to remove a ping pong ball sized endometrioma on left ovary and 3 pea size fibroids on outside of uterus. Hysteroscopy to remove one larger "penetrating fibroid" inside uterus.
Oct 2016: Heartbroken after DH's vasectomy. Looks like my dreams of a daughter are gone.

dreaming – I’m feeling the same way! After falling “off the wagon” around Valentine’s Day, I’m having the hardest time getting back on. Or getting on and staying on.
I’m still on the fence about TTC this month. I know, I’m almost out of my window, so I better decide! The thing is... my brother’s girlfriend announced yesterday that they’re having a “surprise” baby. I’m super happy for them... but it really put me in a foul mood for me. I’m picturing her having a chance girl and me swaying my booty off and having another boy. (Okay, I love all of my boys, so not the end of the world... but this is really, truly my last baby, so if it’s a boy, I’m not getting my girl dream.) I guess in that case I just want to know that I did ALL I possibly could have done. And this month I’m just not feeling like I stuck to the diet and exercise enough to feel that way.
I did this month! Honestly in past months, I’ve stopped testing once I got a smiley. But this month I kept at it and got 2 smiley days in a row. Not sure which one to count, but I’m guessing #1? Of course, I didn’t DTD that day... that was Wed so if it was THE day I may be out this month.

Oh, he was definitely hoping you would go away. I know that type!
I find it can be worse if you know a lot, as some drs feel threateneded by knowledgable patients, as if we're challeninging their authority. It is an ego thing. To be fair, I do tend to know what I want/need and have little patience for drs who aren't willing to agree with me.
But some drs are perfectly okay being told what to prescribe, especially if you show them research, suggest a specific plan of action. What kind of dr is this guy?
I do know babies can come any time and both I and my brother were early ( 2 and 1 weeks respectively), so fx. I am terrified of being overdue and having a huge baby...but then I am scared of labour as is!
b'smommy, huge congrats! So exciting to see all these BFPs!
That is so cute about your early cravings and how DH knew.
kitkat, O-2 has the best odds if conception, and IME with 2 days of positive OPKs O can happen 1, 2, 3 or more days after the first positive. I would attempt at the first one if you have no other signs to rely on.Last edited by maidentomother; March 28th, 2014 at 11:27 PM.

My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1
- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period
