Ttc5- I never got a positive using cheap Internet ones... Dont know why but just didn't ... First response one positive straight away .... So don't give up hope!
I read yr birth story and sounds like my dd3 she too was a twin I had lots of bleeding and she is very much here!!!
I still feel really pregnant so just going to b positive and let my body do it's thing. I decided not to go back for an early ultra sound... Just wait to see my ob at about 11 wks. I just feel that this time I want to enjoy the whole pregnancy thing and stressing over not seeing bub today may be a bit silly as I am probably only 6 wk 3 days and I have a tilted uterus so that could also effect it!
Good luck with the testing!!

FWIW, my ex-MIL had her thyroid removed as a child because of cancer, so has taken a large amount of thyridizine (sp?) most of her life to compensate. She got pg super easy and took it while pg and nursing all 3 of her kids.
It is really AMAZING how that one little organ can control so many of your bodily functions!!!!
FX yours continues to be a good little thyroid and give you perfect cycles and a bfp, Iluv! Layla, I hope that eases your mind a bit. Millions of people have thryoid issues and like Iluv said, a little medication can make you straight as rain again.

Two comments: on fashion- my new style is big old baggy shirts with cropped leggings. It's my new thang. No belly to be seen and I feel quite boho also. On the redbull/sbux diet- I'm pretty sure that is what Britney Spears is on most of the time and she has 2 boys, LOL!

You guys divorced then remarried? I gotta say AWWWW at that....it is cute. I think all marriages/men are a work in progress. My dad taught me the best lesson ever about how to stay happily married (which he and my mom still are)- he said when you stop caring for your spouse and doing those little things that you did when dating, then it starts to break down. He and my mom seem to wait on each other all the time, but it shows that they CARE for each other, kwim? DH and I made a deal with each other on our wedding night that we are not allowed to stop caring for the other person and going out of our way to do for them. It helps, we still feel like we are dating.

Yes, Cemas....vent away, lady! One of the reasons I like this group so much is because there are a mix of newbies and veteran swayers, and we get a lot from each other. I gain enthusiasm from the newbies, and hopefully they gain some perspective and patience from us long-timers. I wish I had some long-timers in our old crew back in the day to tell me that it might take some time so don't freak about that.
And ya know what, I feel like there is only one way I can go right now if I am to get pg, and that is to keep BELIEVING in my self and my body, to believe that this year of ttc and the m/c's and pitfalls all mean something to my life and my perspective. That when this baby does come along, I will be so much the wiser and more appreciative of him or her.
My yoga teachers knows about my journey and such, and she told me from the very first class that when we meditate in class and outside of class, that she wants me to repeat this over and over: "Thank you for the life you are about to put inside of me." I just love that. She says I am to thank the universe for what I am about to receive....and the universe will reciprocate. I'm not some new-agey chick but I do like it and it keeps me positive and peaceful about it, in a very excited way.

Hi AMS.....I am so sorry, I hope you are doing ok. Yes, TTC5 had the same experience. I had a different one this past pg....at my 8wk appt there was an empty sac with nothing inside. BUT that was at 8wks when there should be something definitely visible. At 6 1/2 wks, may still be early, and maybe the u/s machine just didn't pick your bub up. I know you can't help but worry, but do try to remember that at your stage, it is possible that you are too early, but also possible that you have an empty sac like I did, which I hope is not the case. How is your spotting going? Did it stop? I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. Did they schedule you for another scan in a couple of weeks?
