I'm not sure if this was asked anywhere if it was I'm sorry... I know the basics of the LE diet but don't seem to understand how it's a low everything in regards to carbs. I don't see any number of carbs I should be eating & if I'm low in calories & want to drink a regular bottle of coke they have like 70 some carbs in them... So how is my body supposed to think times are bad if I'm taking in over 150 carbs per day...? (Just threw a high number out there I'm not really sure what's high with carbs) I do realize calories in & calories out... But maybe I'm just looking too much into it or not understanding it fully... Anyone's input is appreciated.

LE diet & carbs...

The le diet is all based around counting cals mainly and ignoring carbs. However it works, it just does. I was always a low carb eater before this diet and since I started this diet I have lost one and a half stone. No snacking and keeping blood sugar low is what tricks your body into thinking times are hard.

Yes, the carbs are not really counted. It is low calories, low fat, low protein, low blood sugar and "lower" nutrients.

It's NOT low everything in terms of carbs. No one ever said it was.
Carbs have nothing to do with LE for most people anyway. It's NOT meant to be a low carb diet. I called it low everything because it's a snazzy name that people remember, but it's not literally meant to be low in everything. Carbs are fine and allowed for everyone in unlimited amount with the exception of people with blood sugar or egg quality issues. You have to get energy from somewhere, you can't exist on oxygen and crystal light. Some data indicates that getting more % of your food intake from carbs instead of protein, sways strongly pink.
150 carbs per day is NOTHING compared to what people normally eat. If you are limiting cals to 1500-1800 per day, for most of us carbs are going to be less than what you were eating to begin with. I'm not on LE Diet and I just quickly added up the amount of carbs I had today and it was like 400 g carbs and I havent' even had dinner yet.!!! No pcos or anything... Just the carbs scared me that's all.. I know I'm doing the recipes I'll be eating next week and I'm all used up on my fat & protein but my cals keep staying around 1000. So I need to add some foods that just have calories
