    Girls in early pregnancy smaller??

Is it true? If the length of the baby is smaller in very early pregnancy, there is a high tendency that the baby is a girl. Is the crown-rump length bigger, the baby is probably a boy.

It is found indeed in some articles that male embryos have a faster cell division and the implantation from little boys is often faster. That would explain the higher value or?

I find this interesting, and for me it just blows out!

    Boy 1: Test positive ovulation +9, crown-rump-length at 7 +1 weeks 1.3 cm and 3.2 cm at 10 +0 weeks
    Boy 2: test pos. O +10 SSL at 6 +6 weeks 1.0 cm and 2.3 cm at 8 +3 weeks
    Girl: test pos. O +11 SSL at 7 +0 weeks 0.5 cm and 1.2 cm at 8 +0 weeks

I think that at that stage of develoment when they are dealing with millimeters then genetic variation has a huge role to play no one should read anything into this.

It is fine if you guys want to compare notes from curiosity but I don't want anyone to experience any unneccesary despair or false hope on the basis of this, because there is wide variation even amongst full blood siblings on size.

Most women are shorter than most men, but that doesn't mean that there aren't some women who are taller than some men. Even in families there can be a considerable variation in height.
