Welcome Chloe, I'm sorry for your two chemicals. I hope this is the month you get a sticky bean!
Yay maiden in the 2ww with me! I hope you get a BFP this month! So sorry about your husband.
I'm a little frustrated today with a close friend who is pregnant. She has a boy and girl and is despairing over having another boy...because she wanted to do "girly things" and reuse all her DD's pretty dresses. And she knows how much I would give for just ONE daughter. I'm over here with two boys listening to her talk about how she doesn't want two boys.![]()

Hey willowgirl, sometimes friends are a little inconsiderate
a friend said the exact same thing to me and i turned round and said hey hello I have two boys!!! But this particular friend just found her DS1 more challenging than her DD so that was the reason why..
We are all in the same boat hugs!!
Chloe your diet sounds good increasing eggs, full fat dairy etc is what atomic suggested for me to, I'm on my third attempt and have little weight to spare!! Although its very upsetting getting chemicals you are still getting pregnant which is positive I have to keep telling myself there is only 20% chance per month and that's when you are young and healthy!!!
Not vintage, skinny with low cm!! Like me hehe

Does anyone focus on ph levels?

Angie, happy to hear you had CM. It sounds like skipping the antihistamine on BD was lucky considering how the timing worked out. So if you are 4DPO today you have a shot at a BFP in 4-5 days! Exciting! Normally I start testing at 7-8DPO but this month I will wait until AF is due (11DPO) bc I am not totally sure of my O dats. But I might change my mind..
Willow, thanks! How many DPO are you? I think your friend is awfully insensitive - especially if she's supposed to be a CLOSE friend. Her reasons for wanting another DD seem really shallow, too. Would telling her how you feel help at all, do you think? Do you think she is intentionally trying to hurt you? I don't get why people act that way!
Kayla, most of us don't worry much about pH. I've checked my CM's pH at several points in my cycle, out of curiosity. It is 4.5 at all times except for 1-2 days right around O when I have a little EWCM. I take cranberry and aspirin when I see it (most people shouldn't combine these FYI). My donor takes cranberry daily starting a few days before insemination, too. I haven't checked pH since my second month swaying, though. I feel confident that the LE diet has changed my CM - dried and acidified it - significantly. Plus, it's best to avoid obsessive swaying!Last edited by maidentomother; April 7th, 2014 at 07:22 PM.

My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1
- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Christmas Babies!! TTC Pink April
Thanks Chloe, and again sorry for your losses. It would be so disheartening getting that BFP and then finding out it wasn't to be. And twice, just doesn't seem fair!! Maybe it all happened for a reason though and this month is just meant to be your month!! 😀
Atomic would be the best to give you advice on what to drop but I think adding those things back into your diet was probably a good idea and dropping the Rephresh. Are you exercising too? Maybe it's all just been too much for your body, especially with the weight loss when you don't really have anything to lose! I'm 9kgs heavier and cms shorter than you! 😜 I didn't really lose anything on LE though. My body just hangs on to everything! 😞
I think the baby aspirin in a good suggestion to if you're not already doing it.
Hopefully atomic will pop in and give you some advice but fingers crossed this is your month! 😊Last edited by SamS_TTCPink; April 7th, 2014 at 07:28 PM.

Maiden I'm about 4-5 DPO today.
Getting there. I agree it does seem quite insensitive, and I don't understand it. I just tried to emphasize how well my boys play together. I think they're pretty well behaved for their ages.
Chloe you may get a faster answer from Atomic if you make a new thread. I'm not sure she reads these ones too closely. I think what you've already done sounds like it will really help. xxI

Good luck to attempting ladies and testing ladies
I am still here cheering you all on. Cant wait to O and attempt also if it ever happens - hope you all get your BFPs before then.
Has been great to read everyones stories - maiden and chloe I am really sorry for your losses and what strong women you are to be coming back from them.
Willowsgirl - sometimes people dont think before opening their mouths, I am sure she didnt mean to hurt your feelings or be insensitive. We are all with you on this.
Today is blood test day for me, will be sneaking out of work to go to the docs as my boss is in a workshop all day so hopefuly no-one will notice a 60-90 minute absence haha. When they booked the test in they said it was at 11.15am and I must fast for 12 hours beforehand with only water, black tea and coffee allowed. Little do they know I do a daily 16 hour fast lol. Have also booked in for acupuncture on 23rd April with someone who specialises in fertility acupuncture, absent periods etc so fingers crossed this gets sorted soon.
