Should we wait or not? TTC, but want a girl

I am due to give birth end of August and as I wanted to TTC a girl and baby due is a boy, I was trying to figure when it will be best to do the next TTC attempt and this time with a pink sway.

    We have two options really:

    1. Either TTC in April-May 2015 when DS will be 8-9 months and right before DH's exam for a course he is taking
    2. Or wait till February 2016 - May 2016 to TTC a girl and do the sway attempt then.

My concerns with option 1 is that DH & I have allergies (which sways blue) although we can take antihistamines then and that I will return to work after maternity being pregnant again and that makes me feel so bad and wondering how I will break the news to my boss. In addition, DS will still be so young and usually doctors' advise to wait 12 months after giving birth for a healthier baby.

My concerns with option 2 is that I will be exactly 38 then and DH 36 and I am wondering if it is better to TTC earlier (i.e. option 1) when I will be 37 & DH 35.5. With option 2 I would have already returned to work & the stress of working life would have come into my life aside from having my two little ones to run after. When will I find the time then to follow my chosen sway plan?

Decisions, decisions and I find it very hard to make up my mind...
Any tips/ advice to help me decide ladies or questions to guide me?
    Atomic any piece of advice?

    Thanks a lot

I think it will really depend on what the baby is like!

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Above all else you need to do what is right for you and your family.

I do think quicker turnarounds tend to sway pink but I have had two kids 20 months apart and it was really hard on all of us. That having been said when we are "of a certain age" there is a pressure of time that means sooner may be better as well. If I hadn't spaced them as close as I did I would not have DD today.

I hope you are not waiting for Mar-May in order to sway pink?? That is no magic bullet and I would think you'd be better off just TTC between those two extremes.

Thank you AS! In a way, I am influenced by Spring favoring girls.

I plan to return to work in August and starting TTC then frightens me, because if I did not get my girl I will always think what if I TTC during Springtime. With August and the fall favoring boys and my job being already stressful, that time period does not make me comfortable.

DH is only just OK for 3 kids (took a lot of persuasion on my part) and and with my age, I do not think a 4th one will be an option so I am trying to have as good of a sway as possible for my only chance.

If I went ahead and TTC in April-May after my DS is born, I would be content in a way, but I was told before as well by colleagues that my boss is very angry when people get pregnant on maternity and facing her anger makes me wwalk on eggshells, it must be my pregnancy hormones too I think from everything that is what upsets me the most...

What are the neutral months for TTC a girl and have you seen good results with that too?

the months are just a tiny but consistent statistical variation. Tons and tons of opposites are conceived in every month of year and thus I hate to see anyone who postponed a sway for this reason.

I got my daughter in the boy months
