PGD Results wanted a girl but got boys

Hello ladies, I have 2 boys naturally conceived. My hisband and I want a girl so we went the ivf route.

Well today we got our results we had 6 embryos to test and there was only 1 girl and we couldn't use it due to chromosome abnormalities. The others left over were all boys 2 excellent boys. We were disappointed as you can imagine. We decided to transfer the boys and try once more next year for the girl and after that no more!

Wow. That was very brave of you to transfer the boys! Are they fully tested? Where did you cycle? I'm so sorry about your gender split. It's unlikely to happen again but perhaps your doctor can do a protocol change to try and yield more normals.

Twins would be exciting!

We will definitely talk to her about increasing better quality embryos. I will definitely keep you ladies posted regarding what happens.

Congrats for being PUPO! 2 years ago I transfered both genders (2xx and 2xy) and only 1 boy stuck and he is now 18 months. Since he was 6 months we are trying for a girl and we still wait for her......
