How about if you wanted to renew your plan after the 6 months, what would the cost be for that and what does renewing mean?

It's $25 and it just means that the thread containing your plan and all our q and a remains visible to you, and I continue answering your questions before other people's.

yes it's 6 months for $25 and can be renewed indefinitely.

Yes I think it just pops right back up again. You may need to log out and log back in again but usually that does the trick.
