Hi all.... I think I messed up big time yesterday & today. Hubby and I have had lots of problems with his family being nosey and causing problems.. It's been okay for the past couple months but yesterday we got into a huge fight over them and I left and went to my moms yesterday, today & tomorrow. Not sure how much longer but I'm stubborn lol. Anyways... Yesterday wasn't real bad with the diet... I went over on my totals by I don't know how much. Had some cake and cookies so I'm sure my fat totals were bad. But today it gets worse... I had spaghetti (small portion) but my dad puts some meat in his sauce... ANd two eggs and three slices of bacon. And I had a small piggie for lunch. (Rolled cabbage with meat and bacon & pork with green pepper.....) I feel like crap but I've been so disgusted with myself for messing up the diet today with meat. I've done excellent with the diet so far... Only one small cheat in the last month. But yesterday and today was just awful. I feel like giving up. No red meat is allowed and I chowed down meat sauce and bacon. I'm disgusted with myself that I did that... But my mom is such a meat eater and always has such yummy foods I can't resist.. I hate myself for doing this. I'm overweight too so I'm sure it makes it worse. I lost a total of 7 pounds give or take a pound or two depending on the day... I wanna scream at my hubby for all this going on. I'm thinking about giving up and waiting til next year to ttc bc of everything that's been going on. Between him & his family.. And I messed up big time with the diet.... Im so disappointed with myself... I started the diet April 4 or our first attempts would have been either June 30 or July 16 roughly.. So it would have been either 12 weeks on the diet or 16 weeks.
I'm sorry this was so long.. I hope atomic chimes in with her thoughts on this...![]()

Sorry you're going through a roughy time. I think dieting and TTC puts extra pressure on us all and we all lose patience with things we are usually more tolerable of. I wouldn't give up, just jump back on the LE wagon and see how you go from there. Sending you virtual hugs. x

It can be hard at times but you're doing a good job being on the le diet most days and that's the most important thing. You have to focus on the bigger picture here. As Atomic said before one or two days is not going to undo all your hard work. Don't worry about what you ate. Just focus on getting back to the diet as best you can. You'll be fine! Hope you make up soon!

So u don't think the tiny bit of red meat & bacon messed me up big time yesterday? I hope not. I'll jump back to it tomorrow. Hopefully we'll make up by then. His family is always causing problems & I said the whole ttc thing was totally off til next year... That's why I cheated the past few days.. It wasn't cause I couldn't do the diet or didn't like it lol.

I need advice.. I'm back with my hubby but since we were arguing the last week I've been eating normal bc I assumed he wouldn't want to go ahead with the baby making on June 30.. Well we talked everything through & I was wrong. He still does. Now where does it leave me? I was eating normal for 7 days... Pizza with pepperoni, bacon, eggs,tacos .... And I haven't been watching any of my totals for the days. I knew I was going to mess up in one way or another...
I was on the diet for 4 weeks & 2 days doing pretty good in my opinion. I plan to start back up tomorrow & skip ttc in June & start in July. It will give me 16 total weeks doing the LE diet (but I'm sure it will change by a few days or even a week). July 26 I will be ovulating & that would be our first attempt. I was going to do June 30 but feel since I didn't even do the diet the past 7 days that I messed it up & think the extra 4 weeks will kind of "make up" for the last week. Let me know what you all think if that's okay or if there is anything I should change or add in or not do. Thank you all so much!! (I already got Atomic's opinion on this.)[CENTER]

IMHO if you start the diet again from tomorrow you dont need to skip a month. atomic usually recommends 6 weeks on the diet before TTC. Some people prefer 12 weeks because that is how long it takes an egg to develop. So doing the diet from now until the end of June as per your original plan is fine. So your overall pattern is: on the diet for 4 weeks, 1 week off and then 6-7 weeks on LE diet again before your first attempt. I really dont think you need to skip a month. You might get a BFN anyway.
