    Thanks Bec!
    Here's recipe

    Stuffed peppers

0.5kg (~1.1 pound) of ground beef
    6-7 bell peppers
    chopped onion
1 clove of garlic ( use garlic presser)
2 medium grated carrots ( learned that! )
    3/4 cup of uncooked rice
    2 fresh tomatoes
    tomato juice
    sweet paprika powder
    parsley, seasalt

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet ( I'm using medium pot - you need something deep enough for all ingredients) add chopped onion, meat, pressed garlic and grated carrots. Salt it ( abundantly lol!) and add parsley.
Stir constantly until meat is brown ( about 5-7 min). Add uncooked rice, stir well and turn off the heat ( no need to cook the rice!)

Wash peppers, cut tops off ( about 2cm~1 inch from the stem end) and remove seeds. Find pot large enough so that all peppers can fit in tightly,
hollowed sides facing upwards. Stuff peppers with filling. On each pepper put slice of tomato as cover.

Now fill pot with stuffed peppers half with water and the other half with tomato juice ( pour between peppers) so that peppers are about 1cm ~ 0,5 inch above water-tomato juice. Add 2 teaspoons of sweet paprika powder ( no need to stir it, it will diffuse) Bring to boil, then cook for 40 minutes over medium heat in covered pot.
    Bon appetit! IMG_0109_1.jpg
And this is how it looks when cut in a half - rice is cooked IMG_0110_2.jpg
It's excellent with yogurt or soured milk and bread is must with this dish!

I LOVE stuffed peppers and I haven't made them in forever!!! I love the idea of adding the grated carrots (Zivic you will be able to become a translator by the time this is all over with!!)

You can also make these from zucchini (courgette), cabbage, or grape leaves (a Greek food called dolmathes) using the same stuffing and recipe. The grape leaves come in a jar and they make a smaller version, more like an appetizer. For the zucchini you cut them in half and scrape out the insides, chop it and add it to the meat/rice mix. For stuffed cabbage, take the big outside leaves and boil them until you can easily roll them up and then stuff them.

To make them even more boy friendly you can also add some chopped walnuts/almonds, and for the dolmathes you can use pine nuts for a more authentic Greek taste.

Thanks Atomic, that's a great compliment to me!!! I'm constantly trying to improve my English, both written and spoken

Tried it already with zucchini, grape leaves and cabbage, but we use leaves from sauerkraut (pickled cabbage) try it that way too, I strongly recommend it! lol

If the sauerkraut is too salty or acid for your taste, you can wash the leaves first

Gizmo I think either way is fine ... my girls always ended up eating some of mine b/c they both love potato! I usually had potato in some form every day though. But I love them and always ate them even before TTCboy, I just upped my intake on the boy diet.

OK ladies, I'm day dreaming! I haven't read through this thread because I'm too hungry and I don't know the 'rules' of the high everything diet but one of my favourite meals ever is 'breakfast for dinner'. In my wildest dreams this would include:

    Bacon
    Sausages
    Fried Eggs
    Fried Potatoes
    Baked Beans
    Mushrooms
A bit dollop of tomato ketchup
    Toast and Butter

... all washed down with a cup of tea
