How do you ladies keep the fun in TTC with sway techniques? Hubby is getting frustrated because it's not just regular DTD but a calculated thing. I've tried spicing it up with outfits and some romance but he feels pressure to preform. Any advice is appreciated.

I did FR with my last sway and it really put a strain on us. This time I'm excited to try the one attempt at +OPK. We are going to DTD in whatever pattern we want with a condom and then one attempt at + OPK. That way there's only one TTC sex night. I'm hoping this method won't cause the stress FR did last time.

I've found it hard to keep DTD more than a calculated "get me PG now" event! Lol!! I've found I have lost any sex drive and if I could PG without BD I would!! Poor DH couldn't "perform" last attempt either as he felt to pressured but now he is trying and keeps asking to DTD but I'm not interested unless it's time to "attempt". I feel so bad but I think TTC is all that's on my mind right now so DTD for fun just ain't on my agenda. 😕
I think next time we will try the 4 day option and I won't tell DH just to take the pressure off him to "perform" and also so he happy cause we will be DTD more often.Mum of 9 boys & my stillborn angel daughter, Shaylah Anne 20/02/2015

My hubby is all on board with the swaying, and is trying to go along with it. He also feels really strongly that God will give us what we should have. I know that if I don't attempt and use what I've learned to sway then I will ALWAYS wonder "what if?"
But I'm also torn because a baby should be made out of love and this feels too calculated and forced timing and it's really sucking the enjoyment out of both of us. I'm coming up on O day this week and after this if I don't get pg we are taking a month break ( we are moving cross country in 4 weeks! ). After that I may seriously consider throwing swaying out the window and just having fun with it. So torn.... so so tornAug 2008- Married high school sweetheart

I know they've gotten great results with one attempt but I'm sure if you did the diet, supps and whatever else you're doing but relaxed a little with DTD you'd still have a chance plus have less pressure on you both with timing.

so many people think that if they can't do everything, they may as well do nothing. But it's STILL a pink sway even if you only do one little thing. I hate to see people throw it all out the window just because some aspect isn't a good fit - why not drop all the 'scheduled' BD stuff and just stick with what you are able to do sanely??

I agree..I don't even tell dh this round that I am swaying. Last time was 3 years ago. We lost a baby boy after that sway, which foundry help. Plus, I tried the I gender method and had dh doing some of it. He felt too pressured and didn't believe it would work, plus no coffee was asking a lot of him! He is clueless about my ovulation days. He doesn't think I'm trying to sway. I only warn him I'm in a "b" mood when I am Pmsing so that's all he knows about my cycle. We have used the pullout method for BC since we started having children(explains ds2) and When I'm ready I'm going to just tell him it's ok to go ahead.

Coffee does not sway blue, that idea has been utterly and completely debunked and so if anyone, either you or your hubby, is having difficulty accepting the idea of swaying due to fears about not being able to have to cut out caffeine, that is a non issue.
