I'm in the tww now, dpo3/4. I hope I'm not over thinking it but I feel preg and have some typical symptoms I had before !

stephk - Yes, you are so right about the sense of time when ttc. Especially first days in 2ww are horrible!

About the docs and my spottings - I think they might check me sooner if I would have really insisted or said that I believe that I have a new cyst or in pain or so, but I didn't. I will give it maximum two cycles and then call back.

I am starting to think that O is coming closer again. Sorry for TMI, but I am having some ewcm and cervix is getting softer. Had neg opk yesterday but will start testing every day or maybe twice. Ovulated the 29 of april so 21 days ago. Feels like cycle is getting shorter for every month! (If it doesn't impact chances of pg I am happy, the more often I o the better, but I am not sure that eggs get the chance of growing and eventually implanting if everything is speeding like this.)

Girls, can OPKS stay positive for 2 days? I had 1rst positive yesterday (I think) - we bded anyway as it was the '4th' day but this morning is still positive. Should we stay at the one attempt?

lavieenrose - yes I think an opk can stay positive for more than a day. I believe Atomic wrote somewhere that you should count the first positive and bd when you get it. Some ppl get positive just a few hours, others for two days. I have also had a +opk at night and then still positive in the morning, and fainter again in the evening.

I would stick to tge attempt from last night! GL!

Marika - what CD are you on? I think I have read somewhere that cycles of 24-33 days are considered 'normal'. I think. Dont quote me on it.

Stephk: Exact CD is a bit hard to say for me since I can't be 100% when my early bleeding/spotting is to be considered a full AF flow.

But I do remember writing in 2ww thread about AF-like cramps and increased bleeding the the 11/5. So if that is correct (and the spottings were just spottings antil then, and not AF) I would be o CD 9 today.

Last ovulation was 29/4, so almost 3 weeks ago. I just downloaded an application to start tracking my bleedings and stuff better. Will take an opk tonight as well and see if line is getting stronger.

Defiantly not alone steph! And if you find a way to get your DH to realise he is 35 with kids and TTC, please let me know!! My DH could learn the same lesson. 😉
