AwwwMamaluv you poor thing. Huge hugs. That was really wrong of that doctor. I honestly wouldn't go back to see her.

My gender dreaming success arrived safe July 2015.He is a complete dream come true and an absolutely beautiful little boy.
A huge thank you to Atomic for all her encouragement when I was up against things out of my control and ready to chuck it in. I can never thank you enough. Thank you also to all the other knowledgeable and ever supportive ladies that have helped and encouraged me. I truly believe my dream would not have come true without this site, my boy gender plan and the incredible love and support.

So I'm 4-5 dpo and trying really hard not to symptom spot but I might as well write them down. Feeling suuuuper tired, constant drippy and stuffy nose, slight soreness in my breasts and frequent urination. I'm not getting excited yet though. I feel like since the opk became more glaringly + after our attempt that we might have Dtd too early.

Drs can be so heartless at times! When I was bleeding and had problems with DS6 pregnancy the dr told me I would miscarry but it didn't matter anyway as we already had 5 kids!!
When I got my BFP in March my drs test was negative too so maybe they aren't as sensitive as some HPT tests!
Can you see another dr maybe who will do bloods for you?Mum of 9 boys & my stillborn angel daughter, Shaylah Anne 20/02/2015

How heartless for her to start in already on m/c possibilities! I would not be going back to see her!
I see 2 lines on every single one of those tests! But FRER are early detection and the doc offices usually use ones similar to First Signal (around here anyway) and so of course such faint lines wouldn't show on those yet. Please do not be disheartened, we all see those positive tests!'08

Omg, what a terrible doctor! !!! I see the lines on all three tests! Maybe try taking another test tomorrow with second morning urine to see if it's darker. And I agree that the tests at the doctors offices aren't that sensitive. I don't usually go in there to confirm till after my period is due

Your doctor, my dear, is an idiot. Why the heck would she be talking about miscarriage with you if she didn't think you were pregnant?! You're super early. I'm sure FRER is more sensitive than theirs. I know it's hard, but try to relax. I can't believe she refused a blood test. That is ridiculous. I'd find another doctor to talk to.
Hugs,
Angie

I agree mamaluv your dr is horrible! Hugs.
Bfn for me today at 10 DPO and honestly, it doesn't worry me if it stays that way. I am completely content with one happy healthy little boy.
You watch, I'll go and get a BFP now that I've said that lol5 1/2

Mamaluv - I see those lines too! What an awful dr! Hope you don't get to see her anymore.
Abifasc - Fx for you! Hope those symptoms turn into two lines in a few days!
I am 1 dpo and trying to ignore the fact that I am in the 2ww. Last cycles 2ww was terrible and so stressful, I have to find a way to handle it better.Gorgeous4

Good luck to everyone in the TWW! I'm either 4 or 5dpo. I did have a hot flash tonight, which was my very first symptom with both pregnancies. So that's exciting! Feeling crampy right now too.
DH and I are going to be spending a night together in Long Beach tomorrow night. We won a night's stay at a hotel at DS1's fundraiser last year and it expires next week so we couldn't let it go to waste! My mom came up yesterday to watch the kids. We're getting a couples massage and going out to dinner and hopefully having a nice 1 hour gondola ride if we can get a reservation in time. Today was DS2's 5th birthday and next Saturday is his party so I've been SUPER busy. Looking to relax for the next 2 days!!!!
I was reading on an IVF site last night and the doctors on there recommended exercising no more than 4 days a week for 90 minutes max during the TWW and greatly limiting caffeine from all sources since it constricts the blood vessels, so I'm going to follow that advice even though I'm not an IVF patient. So no more double shot of espresso for the next week for me!Last edited by essnce629; May 24th, 2014 at 04:50 AM.
