Wonderful, wonderful news. The feeling of relief would be beyond words!

Motherofboys, thankfully, she is alright now. No brain damage. She was a bit naughty for a while. Then three months after her accident she began waking up screaming. She still does every now and then. She is also terrified of having a shower and she hates water on her face. Thanks for asking xx

I just saw Atomic's post about your daughter Boysway and had to go back a few pages to see what happened. Must have missed your post. God that must have been frightening. Thank god she is ok now. Someone must have been looking down on your daughter that day.

daisymoo, it was terrifying. I was at work when Dh called me to say Alyssa was being taken to hospital. I turned a 20 min drive into a 10 min drive that day. I was also terrified because it was the 9th of June the day it happened, my SIDS angel has her birthday on the 21st of June. I was scared I would lose another baby. I believe my angel was looking after her sister. I prayed to my angel daughter on the drive to the hospital and a strange thing happened straight after. I felt this incredible calm come over me and knew she would be alright. A few days after she was discharged from hospital I went to my local gp for her to have a check up. That is when my Dr told me that her prognosis was not good at all. When she first went into the hospital there was talk of sending her to ICU. We were extremely blessed. I am so, so thankful that Grease monkey's Kristofer has been allowed home, there is nothing more terrifying then uncertainty about your childs life.
