Tink, trust me, I know what you mean about the weight thing. Read the sticky under ttc blue called diet suggestions part 1....there is a boy diet for heavier swayers, which is what I am trying to do now, where you don't gain as much but it requires that you lift weights a lot to burn calories and keep your metabolism going. I think my problem in the weight gaining arena was 3 fold: I started eating a LOT more, which my body wasn't used to, I stopped working out for the most part, and I stopped taking an ADHD med that makes me not have a huge appetite that I've been on for a few years (it is notorious for making you gain weight when you stop it). Just do the best you can to eat little bits of nutritious stuff all day and let's KFX that you get a bfp sooner than I freakin' did!!!

Thanks ladies for the positive support! I am just a little nervous this go round with the slipped discs. My labor ws so hard with DD, I also did all natural. I am getting a lot of people telling me with my injuries I should just do the Epi so I dont have to suffer. That is not what this is about for me. I am trying to strengthen my back as much as possible so I can have another non medicated birth again and enjoy my pregnancy. Hopefully not fall this time! I didnt get to lose a lot of my pregnancy wight as I was in physical therapy before and after i had DD and was not allowed to work out. Being a tiny little italian girl, i am not blessed with just being thin I have to work at it. i have always been fit but just have kept myself that way. Putting on baby weight and then not being able to doing anything about it has been hard. BUt like B said if having weight about the MID section help get me a boy! Hell i be fat! lol!!! Cant wait for my sway!!!

Hay ladies, I had a great appointment! I wasn't there 5 minutes before my midwife almost drug me down the hall to the u/s room! She quickly found the baby and the heartbeat, I started to cry. We went back to the room and talked a bunch more. She assured me my detachment is completely normal and I shouldn't be surprised if it continues for 4+ weeks past my m/c point. She also said we will do u/s as often as I need in fact I have an appt in 2 wks and then will come back again at 13 weeks! I didn't get a pic but I was able to record the heartbeat on my phone, which she found slightly to the RIGHT side. I'm feeling a little better after seeing my bean but I'm feeling a lot better knowing they will support me in being a complete wreck for a while.

ok so I wasn't going to obsess but I just looked at my bff's 10 wk u/s (same machine as I had today) and her baby girl was on the opposite side of the screen! Her pink bean was on the right side of the uterus and my little bean on the left side!

Tink - I totally understand about the weight thing...I spent ages trying to loose the baby weight from my 1.5yrold and gaining just felt wrong- but I think you kinda really have have to to sway .....I haven't weighed my self for about a month as I just didn't want to know....really must see what the damage is now I am UTD but am tooo scared! I consider myself sooo lucky as I have only been gainging for 10 weeks or so and got a OHW. Not sure how long it took you to get preggo with your daughter but if your usaully fertile and want a good sway you had better start eating...LOL I found it sooo hard to eat enough to gain so always topped up with 1/2 bag of the family sized crisps at night.....seems to have worked a treat LOL Good luck and just think a baby is forever you can always work at the weight later

Jen!!!! What a GREAT post. That is so, so wonderful that she was so empathetic AND bonus to get u/s whenever you feel the need. Kinda fun to be comparing those u/s pics and see where your bean is now! Who knows if it means anything but still, it's fun to check. So hey, you should get a nub shot in 2 weeks time! That'll be fun!
Cheeky I'm so excited for you
I know I said congrats earlier but still, it's fun to have another gal join the due in March club!
ITA! Excellent point!
5, I'm not talking to you anymore until you POAS
This is very exciting; quite hard not to get hopes up!

10dpo today. My chart is totally jacked up do to waking issues from DS and I don't know how to show it to anyone for advice. but my temps r going way down and apparently I read online that getting prego w/ you thyroid messed up can cause slow metal development in you baby, increased m/c, premature delivery....you'd think my Dr. would've actually given me that info. My OB (over email) said I shouldn't but he should have gave me that info instead. I told my GP during original thyroid tests that I was ttc and again she said nothing about not ttc. WTheck??? I hope I don't get a bfp this month and will have to put this off till my thyroid is in check. That's why I'm just so bummed. Seems like everything points to me not supposed to get pregnant again. IDK, really struggling with this. DS2 died for crying out loud, maybe I'm just not supposed to have more kids at all. I'm really going to have to pray about this.

Iluv where did you read all of that? Do you trust your docs? You can find a myriad of info online you know and not all of it is accurate; I know you know that but sometimes a reminder is helpful. But really, if you don't trust your docs can you call another office for a second opinion perhaps? How long will the meds take to straighten things out such that your thyroid won't be considered "messed up?"
I'm sorry you're so bummed but it is completely understandable
