Ultrasound gel?

Hi ladies! I am in desperate need of some answers and wondered if u could help? May 9th at almost 9 weeks pregnant I suffered a miscarriage.The baby had a subchorionic hematoma & passed away.This was devasting for me & I felt I need to try again immediately to help myself heal.
Fast forward to May 27th.I had an ultrasound that afternoon and was told I had a 21mm follicle & would ovulate soon.The next day @ noon I got a positive OPK & that night we DTD & "tried".We used preseed on both of us but I didn't inject it.The next morning @ about 2am I woke up with terrible left side O pains & am pretty sure I ovulated early that morning.
I am SOOOO nervous that the US gel they used 36 hours prior completely screwed my sway.Ive been through so much the last month & am not trying to seem ungrateful as a healthy baby is priority BUT we have put blood sweat & tears into this sway & I would be so upset if some friggin utrasound gel messes it up.Please tell me what u guys think.Thank u so much ladies.xo

I'm not sure I understand...are you afraid the gel kept you from getting pregnant or harmed a potential baby?

Leebug I'm so so sorry for your loss. I hope you are able to find peace somehow.

You don't have to worry at all, the u/s gel is completely non-toxic, primarily made up of propylene glycol and glycerin. It isn't an "ideal" medium for sperm, but LOTS of woman have the substance "in" them when ovulating, and became pg. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

As Dr. Drew puts it, "the vagina is a self-cleaning oven." Your body (ESPECIALLY near O) is constantly flushing your vaginal canal with cervical mucus, and flushing out the older mucus. I wouldn't be surprised if not one bit of the gel was left by your attempt. Besides, you counteracted with Preseed anything that MIGHT be in there.

I wouldn't worry too much about that if the rest of your sway was together. I've seen women conceive boys while using acijel!

I have maybe 5 more days to test.the Dr said my uterine lining was awesome for just having an MC (13mm 2 days before O)& asked me if I was taking anything.I told her I was drinking 8oz of pomegranate.She said shes heard of that working to thicken the lining.
Want to laugh? I told my DH how I was worried about the US gel.His reply "Hon I was balls deep in there-dont worry about it"LMAO.This coming from a guy who went to private school graduated college & is a successful account manager."Balls deep"

Everyone once in a while my DH comes out with a zinger, so totally unlike him, and I am LMAO. A couple of months ago, he says "Wait....woman have orgasms too?" Oh you're SOOOO funny honey...

Hahaha.guys are such goofballs.ive only had my lining checked one other time when I was doing the ivf transfer for the surrogate baby.I think it was 11mm but I cant remember what day in my cycle I was on.I really think the pomegranate juice helped and I take bromelain too.I wonder if potassium has something to do with it.600mg in 8oz

The ultrasound gel is not an issue, don't worry about it. Anchor and Lilith already said everythign I would have! Good luck.
