I don't have any more low dose aspirin and it is not sold here in Sweden. I took the aspirin to help implant but understood that it's recommended to continue.
Is it possible to just take a regular aspirin (500 mg) and split it into 6 pieces and use that? That would give approx. 83 mg per dose. Or is there something special about the baby/low dose that makes it more suitable?

Breaking a pill into 6 pieces can't be easy, and probably not the right dose every time. If you weren't pg I'd just say stop taking it, but you don't want to do that since you're expecting. I'd ask your doctor...

Oh, I know, I tried to split one and I did get it in to pieces, but size differs a bit. I've tried to find an online pharmacy that sells it but couldn't and I've searched the pharmacies here as well. Only thing sold in low doses is ibumetin and paracetamol.
My doc (or well, we only see a midwife first weeks) would probably ask me why on earth I wanna take aspirin for. It's not used here in the same way, I fpund that there was one IVF clinic that does in Sweden and that was even put in the paper as "unique".
I usually by that kind of stuff when travelling but we are not going anywhere now so that's why I thought about the splitting of a regular.Gorgeous4

I have a suggestion: If you live close to the Danish border go to Denmark and buy some
They're named "hjertemagnyl". Good luck.

I don't live close but we are going to Denmark in 4 weeks! Thanks for the advice!
Could I do the splitting thing for these weeks? Just as a temporary solution? Or is there something else about the different types of aspirin?
Oh, why didn't I think of this before?!Gorgeous4

Yes, split the pill but since you're pregnant, it's time to wean off anyway so I would really start dialing it back now. Split it to the best of your ability, but do not take it more than 2x this week, once next week, and then drop it totally.
There is no reason why you should be on aspirin in 4 weeks' time.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Oh, I thought I was supposed to take it during most of the pregnancy?
Googled it a while ago and most ppl on pregnancy forums seemed to use it to prevent m/c. My plan when starting taking it wasn't that though – I took it for implant, but then when reading about it I thought I had misunderstood.Gorgeous4

Not unless you are advised to by a doctor. You should stop taking it as soon as is possible when you use i for implantation, but you need to wean off gradually so over the course of 2-3 weeks and then do not take it again for the duration of your pregnancy, unless you are told to by your doctor.

Ok, thanks! I have not been advised to take it by any doctor and have not used it any other pregnancy either, so I'll start weaning off.
