Thanks Stephk! I even asked DH to work out for me the bd days lol. (How rubbish am I?!) So we looked at last month and I had +OPK on CD15 which happened to be the 4th day anyway but yet we didn't catch the egg so maybe aiming for CD16 which sounds like a good compromise. And if this doesn't work we'll aim for CD17 next month haha. X

Lavie-- The highest rates of pregnancy occur with dtd 1 or 2 days before O. So if you typically O on day 18 then I'd make sure you dtd on either CD16 or 17. DTD on O day actually has really low pregnancy rates since it can take up to 12 hours for the sperm to make it to the fallopian tubes and by then the egg can be dead! You want the sperm in the tubes ready and waiting when the egg pops! Good luck!

Me+4 Atomic says staying on the LE diet is important during the TWW because girl embryos prefer a low glucose environment, which is what we're trying to do with the LE diet. If you go back to your normal HE diet, then a girl embryo might not implant. So yes, continue during the TWW, especially the skipping breakfast and no snacking part which keeps blood sugar low.

I don't feel comfortable personally sticking with the diet too much during tww. If the egg is fertilized it's fertilized. I doubt the Le diet makes a girl implant better at all...The diet is bad..lol. I just do the low blood sugar but not to any extremes. No need to avoid meat or calories in my opinion...The reason to keep doing it is if you fail to get pregnant it's easier to get back on the diet.

I haven't exercised at all since my attempt...I threw my back out and it still isn't better. I hope I'm pregnant so I don't have to worry about it.

I've been so far off the diet the past week even though I'm sure I'm out this month! Just over it!! 😞 Planning on starting back on track tomorrow and hoping it hasn't affected my sway too much if we so decide to try again next month.
