I read the actual paper when it came out recently and I have to admit it did worry me to be swaying! When I conceived DS I was eating so, so healthy and I can only hope the crap I'm eating for this sway won't negatively affect my next kid!!

did you guys read the part in the study where it was in Gambia??? where they were growing their own crops on depleted soil and eating little else? and the amounts of foods they were getting was very scanty and nothing like the LE Diet at all?

Everyone who lives in "First World" countries (and apologies because I hate that expression) is getting more than enough food to have perfectly fine and healthy babies. Even on LE Diet. We are eating more and more quality foods than at any time in human history and if anything, we're actually OVERnourished in some regards.
