I'm going to have a small portion of fruit and yoghurt for breakfast. Yes, atomic recommends pure protein or pure carbs. Fruit and yoghurt is both I know but it's easy to eat. I might also have an occasional croissant

I don't think it's necessarily the diet that's the problem, it's maybe the combo of a 16 hour fast and burning so much at the gym 5 hours before I eat anything. So the sensible thing is to stop that long fast.

Steph, better take care of your health. It's you are the most important right now. Put everything bck on their feet and maybe allow a few more weeks for the sway.

I ate a little more extra sweets then I had to this weekend.
Almost half of my daily kcal were on sweets..I think I'm just too tired and my body asks for extra sugar.
My family puzzle is complete now 💕
    Thank you Atomic! 😍

Steph - could it be potassium deficiency? Up the coconut water?

Woken up with a headache again. I found this last time I did the LE diet. My body doesn't like the 15hr fast. So I'm having breakfast today after 13hrs:

Brekkie - a strong caffeinated coffee with a dash of hazelnut syrup. Yummy! Two slices of crappy white bread with scrambled egg whites
Lunch - roasted veg (no fat used) with couscous, Baked crisps and a Fanta
Dinner - veggie curry, rice and a chapati with mango chutney and a ginger beer or beer

Totals should end up 1755 cals 20g fat 48g protein

Thanks Weezie - that thought crossed my mind too and coconut water was the first thing I reached for both times. I would be surprised though given that I eat a banana every day, I often have coconut water and lots of potatoes - I would be surprised if I was deficient. My bloods were normal for this in April too so its difficult to tell. I had fruit, yoghurt and a nescafe cafe latte sachet at 9am this morning, it felt weird to eat so early but I felt good for it. And its nice to have an extra coffee too, I have often wanted one but didnt want to 'cheat' too much. I will still be having 3 meals but they will be more spaced out. I will skip/delay breakfast when I feel able and/or when I dont exercise. Its not adding extra food, I usually have fruit and yoghurt in the afternoon.

Welcome! Of course you can do it! All you need to do is get your head around the best way to eat for you within the guidelines. Once you do it for a while, you get to know what to put together that fills you up and allows you to still eat any favourites!

Well done Steph. I'm pleased I had brekkie today as it was after 13hrs so not too early and it cleared my headache! I've spent ages cooking today. Cooking two different dinners for me and DH (a veggie curry vs a chicken and coconut curry) and trying to make exciting new dinners for the boys (tonight they're trying salmon with black beans and quinoa with Cajun spices) as well as making sure I've enough food for DS3 as he's ravenous at the moment!

    Welcome hitmebaby!

Weezie - you sound like such a good cook!! Yes you did the right thing if the fasting can give you headaches sometimes.
