I wouldn't read too much into it at this point. Lots of women bleed in early pregnancy and have perfectly healthy babies. Some women have small bleeds around their placenta and it causes non-dangerous bleeding.
With your tests still getting darker, it does not sound like you HCG is falling and therefore, I doubt the blood is related to a chemical pregnancy (I've had quite a few, so I know that song and dance).
Just keep an eye on it and see what happens. If you get really crampy or the blood picks up, then maybe call the doc to see what they want to do (blood numbers, etc). Otherwise, I bet you are okay. Sending good thoughts!

Hi ladies,
Just wanted to give a huge THANKS to everyone and an update!
I'm feeling a bit better since yesterday. I haven't had any more bleeding since yesterday.
I took another pregnancy test and I think the line looks darker today at 16dpo. I also took a digital this morning.

Yes that is darker! Glad you are feeling a bit better. I think you have a good chnace at a sticky pregnancy still!
