What's the average LP? Does a shorter LP sway pink?

What's a normal LP? I think I read somewhere that a shorter cycle sways pink, and a longer sways blue. Is this accurate?

I've been tracking AF using iPeriod app since my first PP AF in Feb. Looks like I've had cycle days of 33, 31, 31, 27, 26. Is this average? Short? Long? Before DS I think I was a consist 28 day, but don't remember.

I think even if you have a quite long or a short cycle the luteal phase does not vary a lot, it is mostly between 11 to 16 days. The follicluar phase can vary much more.

I do not know if anybody has a "normal" LP . Anyway, in medical textbooks a "normal" cycle is designated as 14 d folicular phase / 14 d luteal phase.

I personally have a very regular cycle. My luteal phase is always exactly 14 days (follicular phase 11 d). AF always arrives 14 days plus a few hours after I recognised my midpain.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think a shorter luteal phase sways boy and vv.

I would love to know the answer to this too! Mine is 17-19 days which I'm guessing is longer than average? My cycles are long too 34-40 days.

Anything that isn't "normal" sways pink. Anything longer or shorter than regular sways pink I believe.

Let's hope longer does sway pink. Mines gone from regular 28 to 33 in last few months x

Snap Blackbekki! Mine have always been 29 days but last month was 33 days long! Fingers crossed it's a positive sign for a pink sway ��

a normal LP is 12-14 days. "average" is not the right word to describe it, really.

The shorter vs. longer cycle regarding swaying has nothing to do with LP. It has to do with FP, the follicular phase, the amount of time from AF-ovulation.

There is more than one reason why a cycle can become shorter or longer. You have to look at the underlying reasons why and not just the length of a cycle. I think that people who get boys with normal cycles and suddenly start having shorter or longer ones, this can mean they are in a good place for TTC a girl. WEird cycles have a tendency to be affiliated with more girl conceptions.

BUT if your cycle is long from PCOS, then that can sway blue. It's the reason why the cycle is changing, not the number of days itself.

I can't tell anything from how many days in your cycle. I also need to know what day you ovulated on (roughly). Both LP and FP can vary. Those cycles are def. in the normal range for length, but it may very well be that you ovulated on CD 25 and got your period on CD 26 (which is an exaggeration, but obviously not good LOL)

how sure are you about this?? that is quite unusual and is normally a case of people miscalculating ovulation, which we will need to address if you want to do one attempt.

Question atomic. With both my boys I ovulated between cd 14-17 and had 30 day cycles. Now ttc I ovulate cd19-21 and 32 day cycles do u think that sways pink since my cycles are different now.
