    Confused What if Im not hungry?

    So we have to eat to keep our blood sugar up nice and even. We talked about that when you start feeling hungry that is when the BS is starting to go down and we have to eat something then to keep it up.
    But what if Im not hungry for a long time ? Like hours or so? The I don't have to eat ,my BS is ok or what? Just because most of the time Im not feeling hungry at all for a long time .I just eat something , because that's what we "suppose to do".
    How often we have to eat even if we are not starting to feel hungry ? Or can we just wait till we do feel it?

    I would eat anyway - I've said this before but I never let myself get hungry in the past, even when losing weight. If it's breakfast/lunch/dinner/supper/snack time then I eat out of habit and not out of hunger!

    You don't have to eat a big meal just add several snacks... like a handful of wonderfully salted chips, a banana, or a handful of salted nuts.

    If you wait until you are hungry you may burn calories or loose weight and you don't want to burn/loose anything.

    My blood sugar used to go up and down before.... you need the cereal in the morning to raise the sugar levels from the night and something sweet before bed so your sugars are not super low by morning. For me sugars were 50-70 in the am, over 100 after cereal, 89 before lunch, 115 after lunch, 105-110 before dinner, and 130-140 a little while after icecream.

    Zanacal-so I have to eat anyway? yuck..lol ok I try. I was just not sure because there was a talk that our BS is starting to go down when we start feeling hungry.

    i think if youre feeling hungry its has already started going down somewhat. me and dh have found thatif we are feelinghungry and start feeling low blood sugar its already too late. even if we eat a whole bunch it still takes up to an hour for our body to start to feel normal again...i would just munch on something tiny..one chip or one carrot, etc..maybe every 2hrs at the LEAST (butthats just how my body is). but i know what you mean, esply with all the drinks we're doing (or WILL do), sometimes the drinks makes us feel NOT hungry...so i wonder if you should still eat even if you are full from drinks..?

    yes I do I hate to put on fat . But of course I can't really loose weight now...
    The problem is no matter how little more I eat I start getting bigger from it already!
    I just want to keep my BS ok and don't want to look like barney!
    And what sweet I suppose to eat at night? I thought sweet is not for ttc blue.
    usually I eat nuts at night

    dark chocolate, banana, cereal...? i eat nuts and dark choc or nuts and raisins..

    I was thinking about the drinks too!! Also atomic said juice can be a snack too. So what's up with that? I also drink the gelatin in PA juice. omg there is just so much place in my tummy!

    Oh yeah I eat dark chocolate too! But only 1 banana/day Im so sick of it...and where is Sept? omg I will hate banana by then!

    I used to eat 3 large scoops of icecream everynight.... there is one with salt in it and it is so good!

    Dark chocolate is the best stay away from milk chocolate.

    If you start with very small handfulls of snacks it will build up over the next few months. How much sugar are you getting a day? Try to spread your sugar out. Soda is great for this because you can have 4-6oz of soda every few hours, if you are able to handle a 12oz can every 2-3hrs then that will help.

    Also if you are eating to much salt your body will react to eat and can either increase your thirst or increase your diagestion.
