I got my positive on first response yesterday, so today I celebrated with a brownie and a spoon of ice cream.... It was so friggin good, but I got a bad stomach ache. I haven't had any processed food in three months and I am allergic to dairy, but, wow!! It was worth the pain..... Lol

I'm still in the 2ww... I have been trying to wait, as I know it is pretty hard not getting a bfp. Yesterday was a tough day for me--lots of interactions with baby related things--and I feel a little silly feeling optimistic when so many months have come and gone. Yes, this month feels different, but I guess it would be a miracle for it to be. I'm trying to just assume it's a negative so that I won't be disappointed, but I know it will still be hard.

That said, I am so thrilled for all of you who are getting your bfps. For some reason, it isn't hard to get your good news, probably because you all understand the deep desire of this.DS1--7

July 13th, 2014, 12:27 PM #116I'm 8DPO right now and I've been feeling pretty crappy. DH is working nights, he hasn't in a long while and I'm not good with schedule changes so that could be it. But this morning I caved and used one of my IC pregnancy tests it's a "sure predict" that says it detects 10miu. I thought I saw a "hint" of a line so I put it on countdown to pregnancy and so far the vote is 70% positive (with 21 votes). It's definitely nothing I would call a BFP so I probably shouldn't have tested because now my hopes are way up. (I dumped the pee while it was developing because I really thought there was no way anything would be on it so I'm trying to hold my pee to take a FRER later). Jamie Jamie

In person I can see it and if you play with the tools on countdown to pregnancy you can see it but I definitely think if you have to work that hard it's not a BFP but I'm anxious to test again. Jamie

July 13th, 2014, 01:22 PM #119Good luck Jamie! I "think" I might see something, but I didn't have good results with SurePredict (evap line or false + for me) so I'd try a FRER asap.

I learned yesterday that my best friend (who has 2 boys and swayed for 7 months) went in for her big 12 week appointment on Tuesday and there was no heartbeat. She had a D&C on Thursday and is devastated. She asked me to update her sway in the post your sway section so I just did. I'm so sad for her as we had hoped to be pregnant together. She had all the signs of a healthy pregnancy and can't believe this happened to her. She had a D&C on Thursday and is devastated. July 2016: Laproscopic surgery to remove a ping pong ball sized endometrioma on left ovary and 3 pea size fibroids on outside of uterus. Hysteroscopy to remove one larger "penetrating fibroid" inside uterus.
Oct 2016: Heartbroken after DH's vasectomy. Looks like my dreams of a daughter are gone.
