Question for the ladies...I got a positive OPK today(Monday)...however, DH and I kind of got carried away Saturday night (10pm-ish) and ended up DTD. I was really trying to wait until pos OPKI guess I should count that as my one attempt this month, correct? Was it too early to possibly get pregnant?

It's not too early to get pg (probably). I would DTD again on Wednesday to cover your bases in case you ovulate late.

Do you chart with temps too? If so, do you know how long after a +opk you usually ovulate? I don't ovulate till 2 days or more after my +opk so in my case I'd dtd again at +opk. Most women ovulate 8-48 hours after a +opk so it's a pretty big range and conception is most likely to occur if you dtd 1 or 2 days before ovulation.

it is usually 1 to 2 days after the first pos OPK I get. That was today...so either tomorrow or the next I should ovulate. Would you still think I should DTD again tonight even though we did it on Saturday night as well?

Hmm, how many months have you been TTC and how important is it for you to get pregnant this attempt? If it's more important to get pregnant then I would probably dtd tomorrow (Tues) and count that as your attempt. If not, then I'd cross my fingers that you O tomorrow and leave Saturday as your attempt (with lower chance of conception but a slightly better girl sway).

I'm in no hurry to get pregnant (yet) LoL I've been TTC around 4 months. I think it would be better and ease my mind to just wait and TTC again next month. I'd hate to do anything boyish this month like BD too soon

If it was me I would do Wednesday morning if you can swing it. Tons of people still get pregnant with a 3-4 day cutoff and if you are ok with being patient I think you are better off with only one attempt every 4 days max. Like essnce said though if you want to get pg sooner bd again today or tomorrow, just would weaken your sway a tiny bit.

I would bd Wednesday am. That way it's still pretty much one attempt every 4 days so still very girlie but will up your chances of pg.
