Jane, the old swaying methods (mostly IG stuff) is so engrained in our brains, especially about timing and such....that you cannot dtd less than 48 hours apart, and even that is bad. Also that you should do it one time. Which makes your chance of getting pg go down the tubes since you may miss your egg entirely. BUT- this is the truth: sperm take 72 days or so to mature/grow....they replenish their supply quickly. In men with no known sperm issues, 24 hours is perfectly fine to replenish. In fact, I read an article (that was affiliated with a study) about it being BETTER for men to release every day, upping their sperm counts and their sperm's quality, as they turn over and have less time to be in the balls and get hot/old/toxified. And, there are zillions of boys who have been conceived dtd more than once a day, I promise. So, if it were me, I would try to have 24 hours apart, at the least, but if you can't, don't sweat it. If I were going to dtd every day, I would just make sure that my DH ate a bunch of protein and healthy foods during that period, that he kept his balls free of trauma and heat, and that he was taking vitamins and such to make healthy high sperm counts.

Daisy-the digis aren't as sensitive as the FRER, get one of those!
Hooray for crosshairs! FX this is your month, Alexis! By the way, saw on another thread you are a southern gal yourself! I'm in SC, and it is hot as balls here. I can barely stand it. And of course, everyone wants to go swimming and to the lake and stuff, and I am SO NOT a big fan of being in a swimsuit right now! LOL

Daisy, I totally agree about the digis....I use internet cheapie opks or I buy FRER ones from the store. I also ONLY use FRER hpts (First Response Early Result). They are by far the most accurate and don't give false positives.

Just was looking around on IG, I go check the old threads to see if any of our MIA ladies pop on ... and Frogs and Snails had her baby boy yesterday! She had waited for a delivery room surprise and apparently that worked out very well for them :-) Just thought I'd update that another CBBC member had a successful sway!

AND ... given all our timing talk lately I will add that she BD 2x ... at O-1 and O day.

WP, you have a farm? AWESOME!!!! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have a farm! Your diet sounds good. Just remember to eat protein and carbs together at every snack and meal, which it looks like you are doing pretty well. Just high everything! Do you remember how you were eating when you had your sons?

Also, why are you taking iron? Are you aenemic (sorry- spelling!)? If you are eating more red meat and greens, you likely are upping your iron pretty significantly, so if you feel that you are constipated, you are getting too much. I don't know a ton about iron and swaying, but I guess it's ok since increasing foods that contain iron are recommended. Maybe post for Atomic Sagebrush to answer in the TTC Boy forum. (I think you have probably gathered that she is our sway mod here and a ttc boy master!)

About the temps- your temp rises after you start to stir in the morning. So, if you temp right when you first wake up, literally no moving but your arm to grab thermomater and put in mouth, then you will get an accurate basal body temp. If you sleep some more and temp again, you are likely to have a higher temp from your body systems being awake and all. I would rely on your earlier ones. You must temp immediately when you wake up. I find that if I take my temp but I've been awake for a bit, even if I'm not tossing and turning, just half-awake, that they are a bit higher. I gave up temping a while ago, as it was too stressful for me for that reason, but I am trying it again this month. I have no idea why, but I just felt like I wanted to try it again! I don't think it matters if it is too early....I think you just want to have been in a "resting" state for at least 6 hours or something like that. If you don't normally get up till 7 or 8am, I would just do it then and not wake yourself up so early for nothing.

Good luck, and glad to have you here!!!!

OMG, good for her!!!! We had LOTS of success in the Chicken Butt Boy Club back on IG, eh? I think we had only 2 out of what, 10 or so, have girls?

And excellent point about the timing.....another perfect example of how it DOESN'T MATTER!

I know, CBBC did well! I'm going to see who all I can remember ... you add to it if you think of another... but here's who I'm remembering at my 1st try:

    WLM: Boy
    Wantasonbun: Girl
Maz: Boy (at least going by the last u/s...I keep checking hoping she'll post too, like frogs!)
    Frogs: Boy
    Dolly: Boy
    HOE: Girl
    Aqua: Boy
    Nutter: Boy
    OTW: Girl
    HAS321: Boy

So that is 10 total, with 3 girls and 7 boys... a pretty great turn-out I think! Am I missing anyone?

Nice memory, B! Not that I can think of.....jeez, Wantasonbun really dropped off after she found out another girl. She was a riot. I just popped on IG since you were talking about it.....seems like there are a lot of successful sways- both blue and pink- in the last year!

Shazam! I totally think calcium has nothing to do with more girls. I think milk and dairy add protein, vitamin D (ups the T level) and sodium- all good for blue.
