It seems like all the moms I know that have girls are either really thin or obese. The slim mom's make sense. Can anyone explain how it works with the overweight moms? I'm slightly overweight and have 3 boys. I notice that pattern seems true as well based on my friends and women I notice in public.

I think maybe being very overweight lowers your fertility which sways pink in a similar way to being very underweight does. I'm one of the ones that doesn't fit the mould. My BMI is 17 and has been since I was 14 but I still have all boys! But then I do eat a lot lol

I think it's where they get calories and reduced fertility. Obese= lots of carbs and sugar. You don't get obese by eating protein and veggies!!

Yes, both extremes seem to be more pink friendly while those in the middle have more boys. I have a thread about that here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...irls-boys.html

with nuthin and covered, and also want to mention that there are quite a few overweight gals who lose weight before pregnancy. I know a lady with 5 girls and with all but the first, she started this huge diet regimin right before TTC.
