Comments regarding DW's diet changes-

Cut down loads on protein,but still had chicken/tuna/ham every now and again.did substitute meat for qourn products quite a lot though.Had eggs about twice a week still,but made sure everything still fitted into my totals
Was having approx 1300 cals a day.went over some days and under some days but never went over 1800 cals
Pushed breakfast to around 11.00 but still had a 14 hour fast

If diet was used, length of time before attempt?

12 weeks,had quite few cheats (went over occasionally on protein and fat)

Comments regarding DH's diet-

cut down in red meat and didnt have any chicken or beef in the week before conception.
drank a few cans of lager every other day
he ate a lot of cake/junk food too.

DId you consume alcohol?

• A couple of drinks per week

DId you try to limit caffeine?

No, I did not factor that into my sway

Any Diet Details?

I ate things like toast/pop tarts at 11.00am
bagel/sandwiches with Philadelphia/cheese/sometimes ham,also had a packet of low fat or weight watchers crisps or custard pot or something similar at 2.00
for tea around 7.30 had things like veggie cannollini,pasta,rice,stir frys.veggie pizza's.
Drank red wine/cider/vodka at the weekends.changed to white wiine the week before,also consumed half a bottle of white and vodka and diet coke night of conception
drank 2 glasses of diet coke a day and added splenda to my coffee's

Things that make me feel great about my sway:

lost half a stone nearly,was relaxed on night of attempt,no snacking,conceieved this time in hot/warm summer time where as my boys were conceived in colder months
chinese gender chart says girl-was right with my other children
didnt have as much ewcm as usual.

Things that make me nervous about my sway:

i wasnt (and never will be) my lowest weight as with my 2 boys i was underweight and struggled to put weight on even though if i remember correctly i ate loads. (think i was around 7 stone,maybe even less with my first) how i didnt produce girls then i dont know???
not sure that i did enough regarding cutting down on meat.i would have liked to have gone vegetarian but i didnt have the willpower.
i just dont think i will be lucky enough to conceive a girl for some reason,i am not getting my hopes up at all.
also conceiving on first month-first attempt makes me think we didnt reduce fetility/sperm count enough.
The fact that i didnt do any exercise worries me too

Things worth mentioning:

If we do have another boy i will be disappointed and i probably will have a cry but i know nothing can break the bond between mother and son,and whatever gender we get will be given to us for a reason x

Yes.I don't want to find out at the scan though.I'm hoping they will be able to write it down on the back of the scan picture then I can find out in my own time at home and if I need to have a little cry I can without feeling guilty

I was thinking the same thing. I think I even want to go to the scan alone. I want to find out on my own in case I have a freak out moment.

I can remember with my last DS when i found out he was a boy I came out the scan room and had to rush to the toilet to hold back the tears.I did feel guilty because there are couples who come out crying because they've found a problem with there baby or they can't find a hearbeat,not because its not what gender they were hoping for.
