So I just came home and had a message from the doctor's office saying my blood HCG levels were "low" but that "it could just be because the pregnancy was so early."
I just called the office and they said my beta from 2 days ago (12dpo or 3 weeks 5 days pregnant) was 48. I was hoping it would be above 65, but I think 48 is fine for being so early. If it was under 30 I think I would be more concerned. I wanted to go back today after 48 hours to be retested, but they don't want me to come in till Monday. So I am waiting till then. My number should be over 250 at that point if it's doubling correctly. Still keep sending me those sticky vibes!Me: 35 years old. Was an infant nanny and birth and postpartum doula. 48 isn't low for about 12DPO (3+5). My beta with my second was 90 at 13 DPO. And with my daughter was 48 (exactly) at 11DPO. Sounds perfectly in line to me!
A: "Owner" of the following brood:
-Our biggest surprise dude (L: 2009)
-Our rainbow little man (K: 2011)
-Our sway and pray little diva (J: 2013)
-Our lucky charm guy (S: 2015)
We may be done, we may come back for one more sway. Time will tell. At the moment, we are very content with our family!

Thanks hotdogz! I looked a bunch online too and 48 seems fine for 12dpo. When she said low I thought she was going to tell me 24 or something. I have a pack of Wondfos coming today and another set of FRER coming tomorrow so I can see how things progress over the weekend. AF is due today though and is a no show and temp is still nice and high. Still have cramps, backache, and frequent urination.

Maybe she meant low in general not low for 12dpo. Mine was 48 when I had blood done at 12dpo too.

I'm starting to freak out a little about... Well everything. The sleepless nights, the "having 3 kids" thing, and dealing with 3 energetic boys as they grow up. I just KNOW this baby is a boy too, I really feel strongly that he is male, which is fine, but my boys are just SO full on. I work (& have no choice as my husband doesn't earn remotely close to anything that could support us) & will have to go back to work as soon as my paid leave runs out (baby will be about 9 months old) which I've done both times before but 3 kids just seems... Wow.... Anyway, I know there are families with so many more kids around, including many of my friends, but still.

Primal mama how old are your kids? Do you have any family support? I think we all have a bit of a freak out after all the long swaying then wishing and hoping for BFP then when you get one its either over analysing your sway, obsessing about gender or how we will cope with the extra kid!
My mum had five and she said it was no bother going from 2 to 3 her thing was at least 2.5 yrs age gap that's how she coped!
There will be five years between DS 2 and this one which is huge and it will be like starting all over again but my boys are old enough to help or at the very least entertain themselves! Trust in your decision to have a third and this anxiety will pass plus just think you are a pro at this!!! I too am convinced im having my third boy I think its how we protect ourselves from any possible GD! Will you be finding out gender or going team green? XX
