    vitex and cm?

Is it supposed to cause more cm? I don't have a lot of cm, never been a big producer of it, but started taking vitex (af to o) and o is like tomorrow or next day but I am having to wear a pantyliner(sorrry tmi) because its gushing out of me, I will be taking zyrtec to dry it up next month but wondering if I should opt out with vitex since even though it sways pink more cm would probably be boy territory for me, what you think?

    Hmmm, that is interesting!!!

I hate to tell you to stop taking vitex because I do know a lot of people have had success with it, but on the other hand, if it's making you churn out the ol' CM, maybe it's best to give it a pass.

You also have the option of taking vitex every day for a month or two when you AREN'T TTC (so from AF-AF, not stopping at O) and then quitting it cold turkey in the month of your attempt. Some people have had success with that.

Thanks for sharing though, I wrote this in my notes. Very helpful to everyone!!!

I've been playing around with Vitex to restore my cycles when breastfeeding and now that you mention it, I think I've had some more CM than I normally do...wonder if I ovulated?? That would be exciting, but bad news for vitex!

I have had alot of CM these past couple of months too but I had the Mirena before that so I have nothing pre-Vitex that I can remember to compare it to.

OK, it's a definite, I have masses of EWCM on CD9 which is exactly the same as last month - so not only am I churning out masses of EWCM, I'm doing it early in my cycle and I'm doing it regularly. Argh!

I haven't taken it yet as we're not ttc - I'll give it a try tomorrow and see if it helps.

How long should it take to have an effect? I took a Zyrtec about 1 hr 20 mins ago and just checked to see if it was helping - and it's worse! I pulled out a massive glob. So much so that it looked like I'd been using Rephresh when I haven't. My attempt is next month and I've been low-everything for 3 months. What can I do?!

I read you can take benedryl with zyrtec, but other than that I don't have a clue unless you stop vitex next month, atomic said some ladies did that with good success in having girls,
