Comments regarding DW's diet changes-

I was on the diet for 6 months before getting pregnant and skipped breakfast most days. I lost a total of 10 lbs, but I was vegetarian for most of the 6 month period and my protein levels were low. If the dullness of my hair is any indication of lowered maternal condition, then the diet was working! I was not strict on the fat or calories on the diet, but I still lost weight, so I was obviously not unreasonable either.

I took an antihistamine a few hours before the attempt and took a shower to clean out any excess CM (TMI, sorry) before the attempt. The attempt was in the middle of the night (DH had been out with the boys that night), so after the attempt, I just let everything marinate until morning. I also slept on my left side most of the night.

Things that make me feel great about my sway:

--The length of time I was on the diet.
--the number of factors that I was able to include in my sway (even though I had to drop the lubes to get preggo)
--the fact that DH was so supportive

Things that make me nervous about my sway:

I was loose with the diet in terms of calories and fat. I still lost 10lbs, but I may have had too many cheat days.
