I can't believe it. Honestly I can't! This was our first month TTC. We did one attempt only on pos opk. I am in shock as it took us literally 12 months to conceive DS.
Atomic: you said it was very possible to conceive with one attempt only...so I am the proof!![]()
Now we have to see if my sway worked!! Pink dust please![]()

Thank you guys! Can I have your opinion on my sway....? As it was so short!!
-DH took OLE but for one month only
-I took cranberry, one month
-I took fibre supplements for months before
-my PH was consistently 5 for the five days leading up to O, inc dtd day. I tested DH's hp and it was 7 on dtd.
-one attempt only on pos OPK.
-DH had a hot shower and he used a lime and quartz shower gel I bought him on his bits.
-we used SYLK.
-no big O.
-wooden spoon under bed.
-I wore a quartz bracelet all the time.
-new moon
-DH released on the 16th and 21st, we DTD on the 23rd.
-I didn't diet as such but during the spring and summer months I lost about 5kgs, and in the summer we didn't eat much meat (maybe one or twice per week and small amounts, hardly any potatoes at all, we joked we were malnourished as survived mainly on sandwiches, fruit, etc. but I couldn't resist cheese in sandwiches!
That's about it I think! Any comments would be welcome!!Last edited by CattyPad; October 14th, 2014 at 03:59 PM.

Congrats! I think you have a decent shot, but since diet is the number one sway factor IMO and you weren't tracking nutrients/cals, it's hard to know how girly your diet was. Especially as people greatly underestimate their caloric intake. Other than the diet factor (which may have been wonderfully LE), I think your sway sounds good. Did you snack?

My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period
