November 26th, 2014, 11:58 AM #4IF you were taking it and this has just started, I am skeptical as to whether this is the folic or not. I have had really loose stools with a couple of my pg and I think pregnancy causes it for some people. !!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!! That's odd because this is the first pregnancy in which I've had loose stools! Not that I'm complaining as constipation is just one more pregnancy ailment I can do without. But it would be interesting to know whether it was due to the pregnancy or something in the multivitamins I'm taking. Also taking extra iron supplements due to anemia. I'm quite curious, myself.

Why are you taking so much folic acid btw? I'm pregnant with twins and midwife told me not to double the dose of my multivitamins and consultant said nothing about taking extra folic acid. Am I missing something?
