zana - you've been so good for so long, a cheat night - no matter how bad - isn't going to hurt anything. I hope you had a fun night!

Thanks mocha. It was good to get out without the children but I'm so tired today as I didn't get home until midnight and I'm usually in bed long before that!

    My food for today:

Lunch: ww wrap with feta, cherry tomatoes and balsamic. Bakewell tart.
Dinner: 2 portions spaghetti with roasted vegetables (courgette, green beans and pepper with a smidge of garlic powder), parmesan and half-fat creme fraiche. 2 Fox's Glacier Fruits.

I'm loving the half-fat creme fraiche with parmesan on my pasta. I think creme fraiche is also known as sour cream?

I just looked it up, and apparently creme fraiche is a bit different than sour cream - less sour and more flavourful. Apparently it's common in Europe and harder to find here in North America. I wondered when you mentioned it, because I can't see sour cream being all that yummy on pasta...but now you really have me curious about creme fraiche! I'll have to start watching for it in specialty stores!

I just got back from a dinner out with the girls. I knew we'd be eating out, so I tried to keep my sodium to a minimum for the rest of the day.

    6am: coffee
12pm: plain rice, 2 peaches, canteloupe
4pm: a peach, some yellow plums, a couple of the brussels sprouts I made for the kids, 2 sugar free cookies
8:30pm: tortilla wrap with roasted potato, roasted vegetables, spinach, feta and garlic, Greek salad, strawberry sorbet for dessert

I have no idea what my totals were for the day, but before supper I was only at about 75mg of sodium and 10g of protein, so I might have been ok. It was a vegetarian restaurant, and the food was all pretty healthy. The wrap wasn't all that great, so I'm glad that other than the garlic it wasn't a big cheat for the diet.

I was leaning towards the bean burrito, but my friends swore the potato wrap was the best thing on the menu. I found it kind of dry, with pretty much no sauce in it (which was probably a good thing, since I'm sure the sauce was swimming in sodium). Oh well, at least I don't really have to feel guilty about my dinner out.

It's so quiet around here without swish!

I was proud of myself today because we went to a big group picnic, and I avoided all the food and snacks there - I ate lunch before we went and all I had was a Diet Coke.

    7am: coffee
11:30am: rice with 2 tbsp of low sodium primavera sauce and 1/2 tbsp of low sodium parmesan, peach, 2 low sodium Ritz crackers (these things only have 70mg per 6 crackers yet they feel like a treat), 2 sugar free cookies
5pm: rice pasta with butternut squash puree and parmesan, kids sized rainbow sherbet ice cream cone, 2 sugar free cookies, peach
snack (I haven't eaten this yet, but based on my intake for the day, this is what I think I'll have): raspberries and blueberries, low fat salt & vinegar Pop Chips

I'm amazed how low my sodium is today. Even after I eat that small bag of chips, I'll only be at 562mg. I guess maybe I was too careful today.

What I find bizarre is that only a few weeks ago I was having a terrible time eating ENOUGH calories. Now I have trouble keeping to 1500. I think I'm developing a sweet tooth from all the sweets I'm eating on this diet, and the calories from those are really starting to add up. Today I have tons of room left for both protein and sodium, but I'm maxed out on calories, so there's not a lot I can eat. Maybe it's time to revisit those Miracle noodles with almost no calories....

    Calories: 1590
    Protein: 34.9g
    Sodium: 562mg

It seems to be just you and me doesn't it mocha?! Feel free to join in anybody else reading this!!

    Here's my food today:

Lunch: Dairylea Dunkers (breadsticks you dip in soft cheese - for kids!), strawberry yogurt, packet Starburst.
Dinner: Same as yesterday - vegetable buger in 2 mini pittas with a little salad and mayo. WW ice cream.

So tired today, I could eat it all again! Weigh in tomorrow and I hope to have lost at least 1lb this week. I seem to have one week of a good loss and the next week less of a loss and I also had that meal out this week.
