    Thanks for this!!

Why cardio? Just curious, as I'm thinking of trying to find a new cardio program to start. Any recommendations? I did P90X in the past, and there is a cardio workout for about 60mins, just looking for something else to mix it up!

Do any of you use an app to track your calories, etc daily? This is probably going to be a nightmare for me.

If we were to give it a go this month, would we just DTD the same day I would get a positive from the OPK then? Still considering it...

Cardio, or nothing at all, because you want to lose muscle mass, not gain it. I wouldn't do P90X and I think Atomic recommends against it for the same reason. Lots of women, myself included in the first few months of my sway, did the Walk Away the Pounds dvds. The 4 Mile Challenge one is an hour.

A lot of us used MyFitnessPal when first tracking our diet to stay within limits, but then don't need it after a while because you get used to what and how much you can eat. I think I used it for the first 2 or 3 months.

If you attempt this cycle, then yes, just dtd once at +opk.

Most of us are not using Rephresh or Replens, jump and dump, or antihistimines any more as they didn't seem to be getting good results and just prevented pregnancy all together. Nutrients in general seem to sway boy, so that's why no one is taking cranberry, calcium, and magnesium either.

Several of us do continue to use artificial sweeteners (aspartame) and drink diet soda instead of regular sugar or full calorie drinks.

You might want to go skinny and sugarfree, and/or even switch to just straight up coffee because that much milk does have quite a lot of calories in it and really will serve as breakfast.

cardio is because firstly you want to lose muscle and not gain it (and if you do cardio while eating a lower protein, lower cal diet and losing a smidge of weight, you will lose muscle) and also because there is something about cardio that after about 45 min, causes your body to stop burning carbohydrates and start burning stores of fat as fuel and this is seeming to sway pink for reasons we do not yet know (this is also the reasoning behind not snacking and skipping breakfast)

I was actually thinking that this morning, so I ordered the light no whip version. Is this too much?

if you do want to try this month, just do one attempt day before ovulation or day of pos OPK (usually this is the same day)

Ok!! I'm still up in the air about it lol... The timing would be perfect, since baby would be due in September. Our son is a Halloween baby, and our anniversary is also in Oct- Sept would be better for us lol.

Atomic, I saw an amazon link with products you recommended for girl sway, but I can't find it now! Can you please let me know where to find it, and also if there are any new recommendations or changes to that list? Thanks!!

I'm thinking more and more to give it a shot this month. Is there anything else I should do before +opk (prob Monday) and before I get my plan? I don't eat much salt or red meat, so I'll pass on those...

Others have summed things up nicely, but I want to personally suggest you do the diet for at least 2 months, if not the ideal 3 months. That will put you in Nov and greatly improve your chances of getting a girl. Diet is the biggest sway factor.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period
