To exercise or not to exercise

I've been trying to decide if I should exercise and if I do, what type would be best. I can't really lose anymore weight without being underweight for my height (I currently weigh 98 lbs.) I do get some exercise I suppose because my two boys are still young. I realize exercise by itself won't sway but I'm trying to figure out if I should use it in conjunction with the LE diet I'm already on. DH wants to get me a treadmill so I can go back to running since it's almost always too hot here for me to run outdoors. Should I incorporate exercise (i.e. walking, running) or not?

Unfortunately my crystal ball is in the shop this week and I honestly can't say what to do. I really don't have the data to know whether it's best to eat more and exercise, or to eat less and not exercise (and it may be different for every individual anyway)

Exercise by itself DOES sway BTW.

lol Well I know you can't predict the future (although it would be nice if you could hehe). I think I'm just going to go ahead and exercise since I was pretty much a couch potato when I conceived my boys.

I didn't realize exercise alone swayed. I guess I misunderstood when I was reading the exercise portion of the ttc a girl library.

I think you should exercise and just eat enough that you don't lose weight. I am also technically underweight and I'd be exercising if I could! A treadmill sounds perfect, both running & walking (for at least 60 min daily) are great for pink.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

If you can commit to the 60 minutes a day, 5-7 days a week of cardio, DO IT! I know we're not supposed to look too deeply into the stats, but exercise has been so successful, I'd say it's one of the best sway tactics that we can control for pink (most of us can't simply elect to get on Clomid or try again right after a loss.) I definitely credit my exercise plan as a significant part of my successful sway.

The most ******lined and best pink plan I've seen is LE vegetarian diet for 12+ weeks, exercise (cardio only, 60 minutes a day, 5-7 days a week for 6+ weeks,) OLE for DH, one attempt at +OPK. Everything else is just gravy

    Good luck!

Okay, so I think the consensus here is exercise is definitely a yes. May I ask what kind of cardio exercise you did? I'm thinking of either getting a treadmill or a stationary bike.

Treadmill or hometrainer are both fine. As long as it is cardio it is fine

To exercise or not to exercise

I love walk away the pounds! I get it on YouTube, but I have to use 3-5lbs weights to get any calorie burn. My metabolism is CRAZY high! I was nervous at first, but I wasn't losing any weight with eating few calories. Once I began to do this, the weight began to fall away. I had a huge fitness base before swaying, so my case may be different from others. I just can't do a treadmill- I feel like a mouse on a wheel! Lol!
