7am: coffee
12pm: salad with sweet potatoes, baby spinach, goat cheese and balsamic vinegar, 1 small cob of corn, peach
5pm: salt-free vegetarian Mexican lasagna, homemade low sodium peach raspberry crumble with a bit of low fat ice cream
8:30pm: apple, peach, 12 Pringles chips, 3 small strawberry wafer cookies, Mike & Ike candies
I've gotten into the bad habit of checking my daily totals before snack time, then cramming in as much food as I can while keeping to 1500 calories, 40g of protein and 100mg of sodium. I'm a little concerned that I keep eating to the maximum allowable amounts, but I just look forward to my evening snack/3rd meal all day!

I can't speak for Zanacal, but I occasionally eat store-bought veggie burgers on this diet. I just read all the labels and choose the one with the least sodium (I can usually find something in the 250-300mg range), put it on the lowest sodium bun I can find, use a slice of tomato instead of ketchup, and a bit of mustard. As long as I've been very careful with sodium the rest of the day, I can eat this without going over the 1000mg limit. It's a good solution for when I'm going to a BBQ.

Hi rainbow. It's shop bought I'm afraid! This particular one was from Waitrose and has 229 cals / 5.3g protein / 170mg sodium. It's the type with mushed up vegetables in the middle and breadcrumbs on the outside. Tesco do something similar which I've bought in the past. I had another one today because they're so yummy - that's 3 days in a row and I'll probably have the last one in the box tomorrow

Good for you! I must admit, I more often snack in the evening out of habit rather than hunger (but that's why we're boy moms, right?)...it's just that I find it easier to starve myself all day if I know I can have some treats at night while I watch TV or read. Those treats have changed, though, from a simple bowl of strawberries to a variety of bad things, including ice cream, candy and chips. I think in the least I should cut back the snack to one thing instead of eating until I hit my calorie/protein/sodium max for the day. Maybe I'll try to do that - at least until my next attempt, which is only a week away at this point!
I'm so excited for you that your attempt is getting closer! I'm going to be stalking you big time during your 2WW!
