Any tips on skipping breakfast? i have been a regular breakfast eater my whole life. oatmeal, omelet, cereal bread pancakes anything with high protein so I'm having a hard time skipping without getting shaky and sweaty 😢. 😥 I wake up at 5 or 5:30 and have coffee but it doesn't help keep hunger at bay. .
Thanks

I had two fried egg whites and a coffee for pretty much my entire sway- 11 weeks. I was still hungry, but it was just enough to get me by until lunch. I actually got used to it. i usually eat muesli with fruit and yoghurt, so this was quite a change. Good luck

If I stay busy it is easy for me to skip breakfast- since you wake so early you also don't need to hold off too long at breakfast as it is the fasting time which is important. I would keep doing the coffee and maybe do a herbal tea (something which won't mess up the sway but will add a little flavor to your hot water LOL- I did peppermint.) After a few weeks your body will get used to it but it is hard in the beginning!

Try eating an earlier dinner and then you could have an earlier breakfast. It's the length of time fasted important more than when I think. I just found it easier to skip breakfast but do what works for you

I know this may not help you now, but it does get easier over time. I too was a regular eater, and now I am shocked that I can wait to eat with a 16+ hour overnight fast!
I would slowly push back the time you eat. When I first started, 12 hour overnight fast was all I could do. Every day I pushed it back 30 minutes until after two weeks I could easily do a 16 hour overnight fast. Start counting you time based on when you ate your last meal.
You're doing great! Keep up the good work!

Just start by pushing it back as far as you can. It doesn't have to be skipped entirely, just wait an hour or two or three and over time you do adjust to it.
