WIC gave me a TON because I was breastfeeding. (Still am but bubby's 1 now so benefits are stopping anyway)
I see that it's not advised while TTC a girl... And DH would rather starve than eat it. I don't believe in making separate meals just for the kids, but I don't want to waste it.
How bad would it be for my sway? I've got 5 cans of salmon and prob a dozen cans of tuna left. Should I just donate it to the food pantry?

Keep it an eat it when you get pregnant. Or you could mix it with mayo and put it in sandwiches, or on toast for the kids. All of mine eat it that way.
Very blessed with

I ended up giving away all the salmon (mostly because of sodium) and keeping the tuna. I figure 1 can per week until my attempt actually starts shouldn't hurt too much.

It lasts a long time and I woudl have simply had you keep it.
Most of us aren't doing the sodium restriction any more anyway.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

The sodium thing though, I'm coming in WAY over even the "this is healthy" number EVERY day. And considering hubby's blood pressure issues... I'm cutting down the whole family's sodium.

That's of course your call to make, salmon is darn healthy though so my two cents (unasked for LOL so please ignore if unwelcome) is that it's better to continue to eat things like salmon despite sodium, in terms of overall health. and for swaying, sodium restriction hasn't seemed to make one iota of difference (in fact we've seemed to get better results since most of us gave up on the sodium stuff.

I'll prob take back up eating it eventually, but I was up to SEVEN cans in my pantry and seeing as NOBODY else in the house wants it, it won't kill me to give it away... I'll be getting 2 more next week LOL
